But then again it's not too far off from how light AT guns would operate in reality as well. Hidden in the line with infantry and opening fire at close range at vulnerable locations in the tanks when they are pushing into the positions. Against softer targets you'd start shooting earlier and the guns were light enough to manouver with infantry to provide fire support against more fortified positions when attacking etc.Samulihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04768684644521312467noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1391427662737871662.post-41258934641868150302017-01-05T06:30:47.820-06:002017-01-05T06:30:47.820-06:00This comment has been removed by the author.Samulihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04768684644521312467noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1391427662737871662.post-60654846237931538332017-01-03T08:54:54.445-06:002017-01-03T08:54:54.445-06:00Nice work, Millsy!

Somewhat eccentric and with impeccable style and sometimes hopelessly outdated.

I have to disagree with you on the 45mm. Great deterrents to tank assaults. With small caliber AT guns you just have to resist the urge to actually shoot them outside of defensive fire unless you really have a juicy target like Hanomags or some really lightly armoured tanks available. Put them behind your infantry, but within 8" of the line and the lower AT won't matter most of the time as you get side shots. Plus it keeps things like Stuarts etc. from peppering you at a range of 16.1"Samulihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04768684644521312467noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1391427662737871662.post-70682081847701418912017-01-01T14:26:06.535-06:002017-01-01T14:26:06.535-06:00Great looking teams Millsy.
