From MartijnN: Ah well

So that's my first Challenge over. And a Challenge it was! I had a grand scheme all laid out how I would make a serious dent in my mostly very ancient lead and plastic mountain. And of course, I would comment on each and every entry! And then.. well, I don't really know what happened. Obviously, the Chambers were presented and I was very much taken by the idea! But I did not have many figures available that were really suited... And then I remembered the 3d printer still sitting in its box... And that meant the start of a hobby all by itself, with hours spent on the internet, with tons of failed prints, with tinkering with settings, and with occasionally a good print; and with also lock-downs and children about the house painting sort of fell by the wayside somewhat. Yes, thanks to the prints I was able to clear some rooms, and painted some things I would not have thought about otherwise, which is great! And thanks to the generous reward scheme of the Chambers I actually rather surprisingly reached my target and more. And thanks to the 3d printer, I have also added considerably to my plastic pile! So much for reducing the unpainted hordes...

At first, I thought that my small harvest did not really warranted a wrap-up picture, and anyway there was really no good reason to upset everyone with a picture of me, but I decided to be a good boy and try to abide by the guidelines, so here it is.

I truly had a great time. I  am sorry that I did not get to comment nearly as much as I had intended to, and I promise I will be better next time, should Curt still want to have me on. Thanks to all who kindly commented on my submissions, I have really appreciated it and it has motivated me a lot. And thanks to all for the veritable feast of miniature painting and hobbycraft I have had the privilege to be part of!

Most of all, thanks Curt for organizing, the minions for minioning, painters for painting and showing, and all for having me tagging along.

See you all for Challenge XII, or in the Vaccination Challenge before that. Take care!
