Two completed bases for my WW2 Belgian build.

Commander, horses and Uhlan are FAA, the Chasseur Ardennais is Early War Miniatures

The commander is FAA, radio operator is AB, the Chasseur, cavalryman and table are Early War Miniatures.

20mm figures @ 4 points x 6 = 24

Total points 32

Cheers

Hey Matt!

Wow, nicely done vignettes and impressive photography skills! I feel as though I'm looking at movie -stills. One can imagine the discussions between the commanders. I enjoy the slightly muted colour tones, and really nicely done details on the various packs/baggage on the horses.

Well done!

Another 32points for your scoreboard (I've drafted Curt to be my minion of spreadsheet updates)

TeemuL: And here's Matt with his third post of the day, just before my bedtime. But since my bedtimes are flexible, I'll go through this. That's quite a lot of minis, Matt! It would be nice to see them all together in a group shot, byt maybe you are saving it for the final post after the Challenge? I'll go through the Maths tomorrow morning, it is too complicated with the phone. But you will get your points, Martin too.

From MattW: Chassuer Ardennais heavy weapons battalion (64 points)

 Chasseur Ardennais support elements MattW

A follow up on last weeks entry support elements for my Chasseur Ardennais. In the majority the figures are Early War Minatures, some battlefield/blitz and FAA. EWM artillery and Anti tank gun. Each Belgian Infantry regiment had three battalions of Infantry and one battalion of heavy weapons, this battalion was split into three support companies, this in turn was allocated to support the rifle battalions as required.

Artillery and antitank

Bofors mountain gun, cannon 75mm model 34 infantry support gun.

Fonderie Royale de Canons (FRC) 47mm anti tank gun coy

A interesting development of this gun, it used the same carriage and trail as the 76 FRC canon. The Chassuer Ardennais carried two barrels on their vehicle the 47mm anti tank and the 76mm IG on the Vickers carrier or Alvis Straussler Hefty so they could be swapped out as required.

Medium machine gun coy

Maxim 1908 MMG

Colt 1914 MMG

2x 20mm guns @ 10 points 20 points
12x 20mm crew @ 4 points = 48 points
Total 68 points

Cheers
Matt

TeemuL: 20mm guns are only 8 points, but otherwise your math is right. Some nice firepower for Belgian infantry, should help fighting back the invaders. I very much like your basing, too, it creates a nice backdrop for the gun crews. The green berets look cool, I guess they were actually used at that time?

From MattW: Belgian Chasseur Ardennais (155 points)

 Chasseur Ardennais

Another WW2 project this year is to complete my Belgian light division. In the last ten days I have completed transport, artillery and heavy support elements for them. The figures are a mix of Early War Miniatures range and the old Battlefield/Blitz range. The trucks, Vickers  and AT and Artillery are EWM. Markings are hand painted.

Three FN trucks + 2 drivers

Two Vickers tows with light gun and mortar

Alvis Hefty (fully scratch built last year) two crew

6 x 20mm vehicle @ 15 points = 90
2 x 20mm guns @ 10 points = 20
10 x 20mm crews @ 4 points = 40
2 x 20mm 1/2 crew @ 2 points = 4
Total 154 points

Cheers
Matt

TeemuL: And we have a hattrick from Matt today! Another beautiful project. A scratch built vehicle? Vehicles rarely seen? Hand painted markings? Excellent brushwork? Nice backdrops? We are spoilt. I'll round it to 155 points for you.
Edit: 20mm guns are only 8 points, but I added more bonus points for the awesomenesses listed above, so 155 in total.
