Flying High
Off to the high challenge. I started work on those chaps a fortnight ago and thought I would get them in last weeks challenge but failed to get the decals on (could not find them, then the drying time for gloss varnish….. weather mumble, mumble) anyway I present to you Rabens Ravens from Jasta 18.
The aircraft are a mix of 1/72 plastic kits, Revell, Airfix and Roden, the pilots are a mix of Wartime Miniatures metals and plastic. They are brush painted as I feel it represents the painted fabric better. I had the the molds and sculpting commissioned because I wanted pilots and Wartime Miniatures range could have ww1/SCW/RCW/ early ww2 pilots! The decals are from Pheon models.

After much delay, this post has finally arrived in "ready" form for me to do the minion stuff to. Those planes look superb. Just one small thing - you forgot to claim points for the crew figures; I count 6 of them, so at half points that's an extra 12 points for you.
