I received this vehicle as a present from MartinC on Xmas day - maybe he wants me to shoot his rebel Afghans for him ? It’s a 28mm 1st Corp product . One of the upsides in the inter war Back of Beyond is that it gives you all kinds of option to use various stuff that fits in the theme.

Fabulous work on these two pieces of armour, Dave (though on complete opposite ends of the spectrum). That 1st Corps model is really quite lovely - chunky, yet oddly elegant. Terrific job on the weathering and the crew. I agree, the interwar is great fun, especially for whacky armoured cars and tank designs - you guys are going to have fun in your campaign fielding this kind of stuff. The stricken Tiger is excellent as well. I picked up a batch of the AK paint pens recently, but have not yet really given them a good run. They look like they've given you good service here with the camo pattern reflected quite nicely. Great work and I look forward to seeing your upcoming armour support for your force!

DeleteAs others have said, the AC looks brilliant. There is something about interwar armour design that just looks wonderful. The snow covered big cat should make a nice piece of terrain on your table too.

DeleteLovely stuff. Love the 'droopy' tiger, and really like the armoured car. I'm a great fan of the WW1 era and the equipment. If I ever get taken across the dark side (fantasy) then back of beyond would be the thing to lure me. Love to see more like that.
ReplyDeleteIt’s certainly drawn me in as period - more to come
DeleteGrand work, Dave! I like them both a lot, but the rolls Royce is definitely a standout with the Navy Gunner on the lookout! the markings and weathering are top notch...hopefully enemy snipers wont be drawn to that natty navy uniform! ;)
ReplyDeleteCheers - yes nice to get one with the navy crew
