From Barks - BattleLore Completed (150)

To complete last week's effort, here's the rest of my BattleLore Uthuk Y'llan faction.

Nine Blood Sisters, who act as priestesses performing dark sacrifices.

Nine Blood Harvesters.

Twelve Berserkers.

Here they are with last week's compatriots, the Doombringer beetle and Grotesques.

And here's the group shot of my entire force.

I had planned to get these done last week, but got distracted, so here they are now. I think this pushes me through my 1000 point target, and I'm seeing if I can get to 1150!

Wonderful work Barks! What a rather sanguineous crew you have here. They all look very dangerous, but those Blood Sisters seem a particularly nasty lot. The group shot is very impressive and it's great that this entry has pipped you past your 1K target. Congratulations!

    1. It is a pressing question- how do you pronounce their name?!

  2. I first thought these are some Blood Bowl players or something similar, but no. :)

    1. I'm sure they'd be right into it.

  3. I Tend to get bored painting the same figure again and again. You on the other hand seem to manage it very well indeed. This leads me to conclude you have greater jedi Mind powers than me!

  6. Great job and nicely consistent. I've only played this on the iPad, so seeing the physical figures is nice.

    1. They've changed the play somewhat, but it is cool to see them animated.

    1. Yeah, but I think they're bad for your health in the long term.

  8. Barking mad you are! Painting up all the game pieces included in a board game! I once had that idea when presented with a LotR's Risk set, but upon seeing the huge amount of mini's I backed out. So I have the utmost respect for your efforts with these and at such a nice level of painting at that!

    1. Painted pieces are so much nicer, and you don't remotely have to paint them to the same level as 'proper' miniatures. It is a bit of a grind, though, so many thanks!

  9. Very nice force, Barks! I had to look twice at the ladies...first glance I totally missed the blades! ;)

    1. Can't think what distracted you! I made a conscious decision to not use metals for blades etc in this force, rather big bones/ monsters' teeth etc.
