I'm not around next week so I have decided to post my group shots now. I have painted a lot of figures and an octopus (missing from photo - damn I just put them all away). Not sure how many and it would be easier to weight them than to count them.
Everything
Republican Romans (2 units velites and 1 unit Triarii done last year)
Zulus (1 unit done before the Challenge), Colonial British, Carthaginians, Gauls, VBCW Germans, Parthian Camel Cataphracts and some other stuff
This year has been a blast, thank you one and all, especially the Snow Lord and Dave my designated driver. The Challenge has helped me through a very challenging time at work. Hopefully all on the mend now and the Challenge meant I didn't kill anybody, yet.
Martin
Wow, this is awesome Martin. Your Zulus and Republican Romans look just fabulous arrayed together in one shot. 12 weeks work, eh? Not bad at all. ;) I always love seeing these End-of-Challenge shots as they just reinforce what the event is all about. Thanks for taking the time to do this Martin and I look forward to seeing you next time we roll out. Ta! ;)
Fabulous range and quality of figures Martin. You've been a fantastic Challenger once again :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Tamsin. It's been a joy this year. Glad I wasn't in a 6mm painting competition with you though, that would have been far too hard;)
DeleteImpressive Martin, Great work.
ReplyDeleteThank you Adam, your comments have been most welcome.
DeleteCurt. Thank you for you effort and support, and my designated minion Dave. Once again you have produced a wonderful winter's entertainment. I have less than 300 unpainted figures in my lead mountain, which is about half what I painted this year. Need to go shopping. Cheers Martin
ReplyDeleteGood to see a group shot .... something I almost never do! Maybe I should.
ReplyDeleteTa, yes you should
DeleteA beautiful bomb Martin!

DeleteWhat an amazing assemblage of work - there's a reason you're topping the table! Well done, Martin!

DeleteAwesome and impressive. Been a productive time for you. My painted are scattered all over the place. It will take me a while to gather the horde. cheers
ReplyDeleteCheers. I was lucky, they all needed varnishing outside and so I hadn't put any away yet
DeleteMindblowing really! Great job and thanks heaps for sharing!
ReplyDeleteGrand work, Martin!
ReplyDeleteThe Romans and Zulus are most impressive ranked together! Hard to believe it is winding down now, that table must be groaning from the weight of the minis though! ;)
