Monday's Minion Reports In

That's right sport's fans - it's Monday with all it's fabled glamour and excitement.  As if that fact wasn't enough to make you happy, it's also my debut as a daily minion for the AHPC VII.  Yes, my life is truly complete (sobs a little in the back ground)....

There are 534 points of wonderfully painted miniatures coming your way over the course of today in 6 different posts from 5 different painters.

We've got phalanxes in 6mm, Zulus in 10mm,  and Pike & Shot, Sheep and Mounted Moors in 28mm.  We even have a pack of Armed and Angry Amphibians to round out the lot.

Even more shockingly, the majority of this day's points are from scales other than 28mm - for those of you who have them, feel free to clutch your pearls at this point.

It's chaos here - complete and utter chaos.

Curt reminded me that I also have a stats update to publish later today.  You should all thank him for the educational opportunity he'll make sure you all endure, oops I mean experience, later today.  Thank him in that special way you thanked the kid who reminded the math teacher that she forgot to give out the homework assignment just before the bell...

  3. It will be nice to compare and contrast you with Tamsin. At the moment Tamsin is winning for me but then again I have met her a few times and that makes a difference. Still open mind and willing to change. Good Luck mate.

    1. I'm screwed - anonymity was my best chance in any comparison to Tamsin

  4. Captain, my Captain. I'm afraid you don't get one from me this week, the dog ate it or some other suitable excuse. I promise to ruin your Monday next week with loads of figs, my paint table is creaking

  5. Welcome to the tribe of those pressganged by the Snowlord to do Minion duty Miles. I remember "Tamsin's Tuseday (something beginning with "T")" with a mixture of fondness and relief that I evaded the press this year ;)

534 points across 6 posts? You do realise that that's just the ones submitted so far - there could be a gazillion more to come before your 24 hours are up!

    1. Oh no, I run a tight ship - if your not in when I post then you get to wait till next week. This aint no Cushy Retiree River Cruise vessel I'm captaining. I'd rather like to think of my command as a Trireme of Painting Triumph

We are a lean, mean painting machine where punctuality is rewarded and tardiness punished. Any grumblings and I'll be "forced" to order another "Ramming Speed" rowing drill.

I think I'm handling my new found authority in a very reasonable manner, don't you?

    2. Heck dye yourself orange and you'd be sounding quite "presidented". As the previous Monday Minion I'm beginning to feel like Obama handing off to the Emperor Trump.

    5. I shall have my revenge - remember Mr Campbell I am very petty and have a long memory.......

Everything was in such nice, neat ordered rows and columns, until.....

    1. I am not an apprentice minion damit - I am a associate trainee intern with real management potential. If that doesn't sound like a painting challenge executive, I don't know what does.

Plus I get to wear a cool paper hat and apron while I sweep up - oops I mean while I adjudicate debris distribution issues.

    2. And so shall I ... apprentice minion! Maybe even more than one thing if everything pans out :)
