I probably could have taken a better picture but they kept wandering off!

Welcome to the Painting Challenge. Here you will find the fabulous, fevered work of miniature painters from around the world. While participants come from every ethnicity, gender, age and nationality, they have three things in common: they love miniatures, they enjoy a supportive community, and they want to set themselves against the Challenge. This site features the current year's event along with the archives of past Painting Challenges. Enjoy your visit and remember to come back soon.

Thank you Miles, very generous. Personally I think the lambs should be treated as either 10mm or 15mm. But then I am not a Minion (I don't rank that high). So Tank you.
ReplyDeleteThose are awesome. I really like the rams. Great table dressing, or as you say, objective markers.
ReplyDeleteThank you Curt. I do believe that ewes of this breed have horns as well as rams. So I would guess these are one of each. BUT my animal husbandry is not fool proof!
DeleteBaah.....
ReplyDeleteNice ..
Thank you Dave, what else can we expect from Ewe but bad yokes! (I have chickens to paint as well as sheep and cattle!)
DeleteNice sheep Clint :)
ReplyDeleteThank you tAMSIN. They like you as well.
DeleteSheeptastic
ReplyDeleteIan
Thank you Ian. There will be more animals on the challenge this year I am sure. Remember Tamsin Started it! It is all her fault.
DeleteFlocking awesome Clint!
ReplyDeleteThank you Peter.
DeleteLovely figures and some more points in the woolsack.
ReplyDeleteI would like to have some of these for my LOTR gaming, they look like the sort of thing Rohirrim would raise and hungry raiders would like.
Thank you Michael. I would check the animals that Warbaes make as I think thre are a few breeds that would suit the Rohirimn very well.
DeleteNice entry I won't bleat on about it :)
ReplyDeleteThank you James. There will be more animals to come cattle and chickens at least from me.
DeleteI'm a bit sheepish to toss in another bad animal pun so I'll just say "Well done!".
ReplyDeleteThank you Rod. I am so glad the sheep puns will finally end. As wonderful as it is to have the comments.
DeleteYour troops won't feel like they've been fleeced with these great models as their prize!
ReplyDeleteThank you Steve. I am being bleated into submission with all the sheep puns.
DeleteShear fun! After Tamsin's sheep these are a great addition to the Challenge Menagerie, perhaps I should get some more life-stock done too!
ReplyDeleteThank you Sander. I think everyone should do livestock. Not just sheep but goats, cows and even rabbits!
DeleteNice work on these beasties - and it's always good to have something to make off with in a skirmish game!
ReplyDeleteThanks Evan. I totally agree. I will also be painting some cattle soon which players may steal in game. (Maybe some chickens as well)
DeleteLovely mobile scenery!
ReplyDeleteThank you Barks. Scenery in some games reasons to fight in others and Objectives in yet others.
DeleteLovely sheep Clint. I've got a few of these to paint up myself.
ReplyDeleteTHanks Ray Maybe next challenge we can all have a sheep off! (no Maybe not)
DeleteMore stage dressing! They look grand, Clint! A sheepdog would keep them from wandering about! ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks David I have 2 dogs here in RL they did no good what so ever! (An one is a border collie)
DeleteGreat stuff Clint. Good to see the "supporting cast" getting some attention.
ReplyDeleteThanks Michael. They may not carry guns or swords but they are just as important in some games
DeleteGood stuff, little miniatires like this really add a lot to the look of the table. I've been tempted by a fair few of the range....
ReplyDeleteThanks Jamie. I want to get some more of the range as well. I want Pigs next I think, or boars.
DeleteOne can never have enough live stock on the table. Especially when it's as nicely painted as these examples here.
ReplyDeletethis is a real one.......hahaha, well done on the sheep
