This is the second army made up from my old 15mm Dixon Miniatures. Again the infantry units are 16 figures strong and the cavalry either 10 riders or 9.
General (14 Pts)
Samurai (32pts)
Ashigaru Unit (32pts)
Ashigaru Unit (32pts)
Ashigaru Tippo Unit (32 pts)
Second Command = 206 Pts
Sub General (8pts)
Mounted Samurai (10 mounted figures 40pts)
Foot Samurai (32pts)
yet another Ashigaru Unit (32pts)
That's it the second Samurai Army finished. I do have some odd and ends, figures left over, some monks, civilians and baggage which I will do next.
So total for the second Samurai Army = 621pts
Then I found 5 Ninjas which I had to do as there were no dots to paint (10pts)
Grand Total 631 pts, a painful neck and very sore eyes.
TeemuL: Another busy week from you, Grahame! I feel sorry for your neck and eyes, and I'm little bit worried about your maths, too. Spreadsheet says 698 points. A group shot would have been nice, but given the amount you paint, I'm not asking anything more from you, :) You already have two armies and five ninjas done, some extras on the pipeline. I do hope you some nice side projects to keep you sane.
Wow. Another great looking army.
ReplyDeleteSuperb
ReplyDeleteGreat eye candy, very nicely painted and based. I don't have the patience for painting 15mm Samurai
ReplyDeleteanother amazing set of figures they look so good the style of painting really suits them congrats on another stonking points bomb
ReplyDeleteWhat an army! Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteHow many hours did you sleep last week?
Need to see the whole force together, bet it looks amazing
ReplyDeleteI didn't know Dixon did 15mm Japanese. I have seen and played with their 25/28mm ones - but you have done a wonderful job on their smaller cousins.
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful. Massive force in a short time. Well done.
ReplyDeleteWell done Grahame - some of these are beginning to look familiar now - when you say Dixon I'm thinking these are the Two Dragons Samurai - I have many that have languished in boxes for 20 years - am I correct
ReplyDeleteTerrific work Grahame, getting so much done and to such a high standard. I have always loved seeing Samurai armies.
ReplyDeleteGreat work Graham, you're storming it this time round.
ReplyDeleteThey look great. fabulous looking army. I am now considering getting a thousand ninja for next year to rack the points up ;)
ReplyDeleteOh wow. Another mega entry Graham!
ReplyDeleteI love the colourfulness of these Graham!
