From RayR - Donnybrook - English Artillery (25 Points)

My 5th entry proper into this years Challenge, yet more Donnybrook figures!!!
This is the Dixon artillery set, from their Grand Alliance range which can be purchased here, for the measly sum of £6.95. Which for 3 figures and an artillery piece is a bargain!

Although I've written this is an English piece, it can be used for the French as well
as they both wore the same uniform. These should add 25 points to my total?

Great work Ray! Good to see Dixon getting some press here (a wonderful set of figures they are too). Love the vibrant colours, though how does that fellow keep his sponger so white? He could market his secret to the laundry trade and make millions. ;)

    1. They are great figures and they're very easy to paint.

  2. Any "donnybrook" where you fire a cannon must be a real dust-up! Or maybe I'm losing something in the cultural filter here...

    Nicely done Ray!

    1. All their ranges are great. They always look very plain unpainted, but are excellent to paint.

  6. Artillery for Donnybrook, That might be overkill. But if that is your excuse for such a good paint job use that excuse a dozen more times at least. Very nice.

  7. Like Curt I'm a fan of the vibrant colours, what a sight the battlefield must have liked before it all kicked off!

  9. Grand arty piece, Ray! I like the vibrant red!
I'm told that artillery brings a touch of class to what would otherwise be a vulgar brawl. This should be quite fun in Donnybrook! ;)
