Scale: 1/100 (15mm)
Mfg: Battlefront
Product: lots of ww2 Polish boxsets, blisters, and Finnish guns

Paints: automotive primer, Vallejo Model Color, oil washes, cleaned beach sand for ground, latex indoor house paint for base, matt vanish, Taran's Tufts and static grass.

320 infantry
15 guns
1 motorcycle with 3 riders

Got lots of Battlefront WWII Polish infantry today to show.  ~89 stands of infantry and guns. I think there is a song about that somewhere... leastwise it seemed like it painting them.

I ended up basing the motorcycle after taking the group shot but didn't go back and get another image. It was one a medium base.

Eighty-nine bases! That is quite the horde of brave Polish infantrymen to defend their homeland. The mass of khaki, green and brown in WWII means they often aren't the most interesting force to paint, your sheer number here means they're quite the spectacle. I particularly like the camo designs on the big guns, which add a good point of interest to the force.
I make this 704 points, which means you've submitted over 1000 points in one day, an impressive points bomb in itself, which more than triples your score and smashes through your target - congratulations!

  1. Big bombs can only mean the Challenge is ending! :)

  6. Holy Smokes!! The start of the Big Yield bombs heralds the Challenge wrap-up. Brilliant work Steve.

  7. Very nice. The artillery stands are especially well done.

  8. That's a shit ton of infantry , good job

  9. An impressive double bombing, Steve! I thought the Enola Gay was retired!? That is a very impressive Polish force! I really like the camouflage on the big guns too!
