Hi All!
Here is the participant roster along with the posting day and minion assignments for Challenge XII.
I've provided the sheet in two views, one alphabetically by name of participant, and another sorted by posting day and supervising Minion. Please note: You can draft your posts on any day of the week, but they will only go live on the blog, and be scored, on your posting day.
As you can see, I went waaay past my stated ceiling. I suspect that Miles, our spreadsheet guru, now hates me, and I can't even image what our Minions think. Seriously, I can't help myself.
Hmm, I think this is a new record for the Challenge. Anyway, I figure the more the merrier - let the chaos reign! :)
Woohoo, I have my nom de la peinture back!
ReplyDeleteOver 100 participants? This year is going to be wild!
ReplyDeleteWow! Awesome to see so many wanting to take part. It's going to be a full time job just to keep up with everyone's output! :D
ReplyDeleteNo 77. I'm actually getting a bit angry now. I've got stacks of figures prepped and ready to go and I can't paint the buggers yet!
ReplyDeleteOh the pain!
Sandbags at the ready.
DeleteClearing the decks, cleaning brushes, new airbrush setup, paint stocks filled, reference sheets printed and madly glueing figures together and mounting on drink bottle caps. Less than ten days to go!
Delete101 participants... is this the record so far?
ReplyDeleteGood luck everybody and seeing you in 10 days from now
Working as I write this in assembling plastics, basing and priming
Wow, that's a big Roster of painters! All the more for us to feast our eyes on when things get started. This is going to be great.
ReplyDeleteGood luck Tuesday team, we are in safe hands with Tamsin, air steward extraordinaire. Let's make it the day to make everyone else excited about
ReplyDeleteWe are! Both Arthur and myself are honoured to be joining such an illustrous company of Heroes!
DeleteI think it is us who are blessed. We must not let Lady Sarah down
Delete"Tamsin's Tuesday Terrors" hit the field once again!
DeleteJust think, you boys have got three women to not let down. :)
@Tamsin: just no pressure eh?! Well thanks hepas mam!
Delete@Tamsin. would be the 1st time I've let down 3 women
DeleteI feel honoured to be the 101st on the list! I feel obliged to paint a dalmatian or a WW2 US Paratrooper.
ReplyDeleteHow many shall be culled? :)
ReplyDeleteSure laugh about “the culling” your not the guy who had to carry out “the deed”. Let us hope there are none this year, as the shame of being culled is burden one wears for their entire existence - in this world and the next
DeleteIf you need a an assistant Reaper ;)
DeleteI kid of course and sincerely hope the number is 0
Deletedo you need a big club
DeleteI feel the pressure. I have the highest target of Saturday people...
ReplyDeleteFriday is a good day to post; looking forward to the start of it all again and I might sneak in a few more prepping sessions before the start date.
ReplyDeleteCheers, Ross
It looks like the Sunday and Monday groups have the highest targets. I hope the mid-week groups can keep up. :)
ReplyDeleteNo pressure of course!
DeleteI can assure you that does not come from me!
DeleteChristopher
Madly gluing figures together, more boxes arrive on the 25th Dec for Christmas, then start glueing for February painting pile, I think I need a spare arm and hand, so far 60 100YW knights, and 80 foot, plus 120 Napoleonic Austrians.
ReplyDeleteCheers
Matt
Oh my poor spreadsheet - 101 painting berserkers all scrambling to earn entry into the Halls of Vallejohalla, where they may paint alongside their ancestors. I can already see the complaint emails from Google claiming our little spreadsheet is consuming over half the internets capacity.
ReplyDeleteOh, I assure all of you that, for this year, my 2,000 point target represents a stretch goal for me….
ReplyDeleteNot sure how I missed this post on Saturday. 101 participants? My goodness, that is a record - I seem to recall that we had 100 one year...
ReplyDeleteI guess with all the newbies that I really should write the "How we want you to do your posts" thing that I said I'd do.
Just a thought - it might be worth letting folks know that the first and last few days are "free for all" and that they don't have to post on their assigned day until the Minions are on duty.
Yup I think you should write the “how to post”
DeleteAlso as the Friday minion - I will set this out now - if it’s not formatted and I have to work out too much it ain’t getting posted 😎.
Otherwise -welcome to the Friday crew - there will painting participation sessions organised in due course !
That would very handy and useful. Especially for newbies and perhaps for some absent minded old timers, too. ;)
DeleteYes Please! A Post on how to Post would be greatly appreciated …
