So here's my crowning message. So I'll write more briefly. These are all my miniatures painted during the Challenge.
This is me - this is an important and a little pathetic.
This - my youngest daughter, I gave the time that would be spent on painting the planned but not made miniatures. I do not regret it.
This is - a terrible secret of why I paint so much - I paint with two hands, and taught me that my eldest daughter.
Thank you all, it was a very interesting and positive experience.
Alex, I think you missed your calling as a border sentry. ;) I love the pics of your daughters. Your two-fisted Donatello is going to put you through your paces.
ReplyDeleteYou produced an amazing amount of work Mr. S. Your Italian Wars entries really helped to keep me steaming along with my own work. Well done sir!
thank you, Curt. but I know one person who painted for the period of the Italian wars, much better than I am more :)
DeleteSome crackin' work there Alex!

DeleteGreat result, Alex, a terrific turnout of troops. I especially liked that Risk Taker entry with the tumbling dice - a real masterpiece!
ReplyDeleteAnd speaking as a recent grandfather, I can see that your daughters must have you wrapped around their little fingers. They are adorable!
Thank you Evan! Yes, sometimes they come to me interesting ideas - it turns out, once so sure of three months ^).
DeleteAlex - you are a machine! Was great to have you on the Friday team!

ReplyDeleteOh, Mr. Miles, I know a man who paints more, better, and that has a beautiful son.
