The party had marshalled a plan to enter the Spider Chamber, "put those cans of Raid Away, I see the map says spiders, but the description scroll reads Large Monster". Hmm, what to do, was not one of those Chronomancers we encountered a female? Bring them up.
So I beseech Sarah to wield the winds and move my party from the Hall of Heroes to the Snowlords Treasury. As tribute here are two figures from Frost Grave the Chronomancer & Apprentice.
The small local group and some close friends meeting at Adepticon have played Frostgrave extensively taking us back to beginnings of D&D, but on table top.
Aside from AHPC, Frostgrave boosted my painting of fantasy figures as I was running the scenarios provided by the author Joseph A. McCullough. So these were in the lead bin, probably a prize from a past game. Great minis. Fun to paint.
very nice and versatile too, come december they could have d3corative functions as well!

ReplyDeleteWe just survived nearly 2 weeks of Polar Vortex in Saskatchewan with temperatures dipping down below -45C ... I think I needed this Frostgrave wardrobe and certainly some wizarding powers would have been handy!🧙♀️
ReplyDelete-45C?!
Delete-45C is frighteningly cold .... but we here in the Great White North are a tough lot, and thankfully our housing construction is designed for both Polar Vortexes and summer temperatures into the high +30C .... t
DeleteCrazily enough, the temperatures today is a balmy +6C ... ☀️
Very festive!
