Hi All,
Just three figure from me this week so only 15 points but satisfying to finish a pike block that was started in last years challenge (front base completed), and continued in the Quarantine Challenge (few more pike figures done) and the final missing figures and basing now completed.
This first picture shows the state of play at the start of the week with the gap for the three figures and a close up of the two new pike glued in their final position on the rear base. They are Old Glory pike. These are based for Impetus and I love the job of deciding on the final positions of finished figures on an impetus base.
The third new figure was the standard bearer - this is a converted Wargames Foundry figure. The flag is hand painted copying the excellent Pete's Flags design for Landsknechts in French army service. The flag material is actually the white surround from an older Pete's Flags sheet. I think using this cloth type material helps the hand painting process.
Finally a shot of the finished full block and then the rear base close up.
Hopefully will get the accompanying shot troops finished for next week? Just 3 infantry figures and 15 points for this week.
Cheers Jez
