Welcome to the Painting Challenge. Here you will find the fabulous, fevered work of miniature painters from around the world. While participants come from every ethnicity, gender, age and nationality, they have three things in common: they love miniatures, they enjoy a supportive community, and they want to set themselves against the Challenge. This site features the current year's event along with the archives of past Painting Challenges. Enjoy your visit and remember to come back soon.

AlanD - 28mm Bedouin Cavalry (90 Points)
My Seljuk army continues to grow with these nine Bedouin horsemen from Perry Miniatures. I kept things pretty simple with the colours and robes, although as always painting the tiraz bands on the upper sleeves was fiddly.
This lot should give me 90 points, and the lead over Tamsin until Saturday! :)

I have been really enjoying these submissions - it looks like such an awesome period.
ReplyDeleteVery nice.
ReplyDeleteThese are some great additions to your force!
ReplyDeleteVery cool - those armbands are worth the effort!
ReplyDeleteVery nice indeed! Lovely muted colours set off really well with the arm bands.
ReplyDeleteFrom hooves to turbans, they are very grand! I have to echo that a group shot would be wonderful! You've done a lot of work on these fellows and the warband should be very impressive now!
