From SanderS: Lady Sarah's Yacht to Noel's Comet please! (30 points)

 Hoi,

As the Challenge is nearing it's end I think I am  worth a few posts yet.

I do need to get to Noel's Comet and therefore need to get on board with the Yacht. So another Female figure is in order and just like last time it she has a Blood Bowl background; I choose this Dejah Thoris figure by Impact! Games. She has 3 arm options to be made into a star player, coach or referee, it's the latter option I went with as I think I rather like having referee (and other sideline figures) to go with my games, specially since I am 3d printing a stadium for BB.

Originally I had planned this figure for entering Barsoom, but since I will not be going any further than the comet, she will have to do for now. Also ready for today's post is a Rat Ogre to be used by Mark for his Skaven BB team that I have painted earlier this Challenge.

When Mark gave me this figure to paint I wasn't exactly sure it was a real BB figure but the lack of any weapons does make it look the part. I just didn't know how to get his team-colours of yellow (gold) and black on it untill I noticed the loincloth.

These two 28mm figures will deliver me 10 points together with 20 points bonus is another 30 points for the roster.

This is kinds fun being able to minion new folks work for a change.  Great stuff for your Bloodbowl project Sander.  That's quire a fetching referee, are there three other figures spelling out the M, C and A?  However, I'm not sure that I'd give her much of a chance against that hulking great Rat Ogre.  I am reminded of the train for major league umpires that involves role playing with "managers" yelling in the umps faces and kicking dirt on their uniforms, I'm sure something similar would work for Bloddbowl.

  1. Love the Dejah Thoris figure! You need to create a Barsoom Bloodbowl team with Tharks and four-armed white apes. :)

    1. Now there's a thought! But it would create a problem as to what position the figures would be used for...

  2. I know nothing of Blood Bowl, but the Deja’s Thoris is fab!
Love her dynamic pose … she looks like she’s doing interpretive dance! And your colour choices are terrific, especially the purple!

    1. Thanks, well I do believe you would actually enjoy playing Blood bowl, that aside I do love how the game rewards those that use bold colours.

  3. She is pretty, I like the black and white stripes! And the brown beast proudly carries his team colours.

    1. The stripes are of course to show her function as referee, but they do accentuate the purple as well.

    1. The pairing up of the two is accidental but worked nicely for this post.
