From MichaelA - A final push! (60 Points)

Thanks to our beloved Snowlord's generosity in granting us another day, I have managed to complete another dozen Warlord Games plastic Zulus.  Inching me painfully close to my target of 38 in order to claim the 'Cetshwayo Challenge'.

Painfully close, but not close enough as my tally of 33 is just 5 short and so I must concede in favour of MartinC.  Just being part of the Challenge has given me the much needed focus to complete the original box and an additional Induna, which will be MartinC's prize for being a well deserved winner.

As this will be my last post of the Challenge, I thought I would indulge in a quick group shot of all the Zulus done and take this opportunity to thank Curt, and indeed all his minions, for another truly wonderful Challenge - bravo one and all!

Absolutely stunning work Michael. I knew that when I posted the 24 hour extension that you would be chained to your workdesk, lashing away with the paints.  Well, you may not have hit your intended goal but these figures are fantastic.  I'm delighted that the Challenge has provided impetus for you to get these done, if for no other reason than for us to enjoy seeing them. Bravo sir.

Until Challenge VII, Mr. Awdry. It has been a pleasure. :)

  4. Beautiful work Michael. It's been a pleasure to be part of the side challenge, if a little nerve wracking towards the end. Your bonus rounds have been truly inspiring and next year maybe we could do something around them, I have to place in top 3 for every 3 times you do:). HAve a good summer

  5. Stunning paintwork Michael! I did at first think some of them Braves had oranges tucked in their headbands :-P but they're really well done, the figures not the fruit obviously! I have never been able to paint the skintones on my Zulus quite as good as you did so respect indeed.
