Welcome to the Painting Challenge. Here you will find the fabulous, fevered work of miniature painters from around the world. While participants come from every ethnicity, gender, age and nationality, they have three things in common: they love miniatures, they enjoy a supportive community, and they want to set themselves against the Challenge. This site features the current year's event along with the archives of past Painting Challenges. Enjoy your visit and remember to come back soon.

From AlanD - 28mm Saracen Crossbowmen (40 Points)
Here's a few crossbowmen from Black Tree Design to round out my painting week.
8 figures should get me 40 points.
And here's where this madness occurs.
From Curt:
Lovely. You've got some wonderful variation in their tunics Alan, and your faces always seem just spot on. Great work.
I also like the madness of your painting desk. There's some wonderful chaos going on there!

Excellent work Alan. I can see I'll have my work cut out this week to regain the lead and put myself a comfortable margin ahead of you :)

Great job, Saracen troops are one of my favourite, and yours are superb! - for a moment, I thought I was looking at my own desk... :) Cheers!
ReplyDeleteLovely looking troops Dux!
ReplyDeleteNice muted colours Alan and the basing is spot on. You have some heavyweight gaming clutter going on with your desk I see!
ReplyDeleteNice! The patterned tunics turned out great.
