From ScottM: French Vehicles and Fantasy Adventurers (115 points)

My contribution this week is a composed of two things: French World War 2 vehicles and a group of fantasy adventurers. First up is a set of five 28mm French early-war vehicles. I got them from a Kickstarter that Mad Bob Miniatures ran last year. First up is a Citroen Kegresse P19 Staff Car.

Next up is a Citroen Kegresse P104 armoured halftrack transport.

Next is a Panhard 165/175 armoured car. This one is my favourite of the lot, I'm kind of a sucker for the various Panhard armoured cars.

Next up is a Panhard 179 armoured scout/transport.

And finally is a Somua MCG artillery tractor/troop transport

The other part of my submission this week is a set of fantasy adventurers from a Kickstarter that Red Box Games ran last year.

ByronM: Good looking stuff Scott.  I love all the different looking vehicles here that you just do not see a lot.  You painting and camo on them looks great as well!  It's always interesting to see the lesser known items from war done up as many of them a lot of us will have never seen before.  I am also glad to see that I am not the only one with a Kickstarter illness!

From AnthonyO - More Team Yankee, some Germans and a Rather Rare French Fighting Machine (135 Points)

This week has seen me power on with the Team Yankee Russians and take on a few King Tigers for my FoW Germans as well as paint up a rarely seen French Tank Hunter.

Team Yankee 15mm - Russians - 90 Points

When you are on a roll... 9 more T72's and 4 Shilka's along with 2 SU-25's all from Battlefront Miniatures. Once you work out the basic paint scheme it becomes a production line and you can achieve a lot in a small amount of time.

Next week I will tackle another 6 Hinds which should look great on the table.

King Tigers 15mm - 18 Points

These King Tigers are surprisingly heavy! Resin and metal combine to really put some weight in them and they are great little miniatures. I have no idea what they pay like however I was given these and being so iconic I had to paint them up.

French 1/56 Citroen-Kegresse Portee - 25 Points 

This great little tank destroyer comes from Mad Bob Miniatures (crew from JTFM) and is just a great model. The vehicle is a halftrack converted to carry a 25mm AT gun in the lead up to WW2 and it was clearly outclassed very early on. I will use it with my early war French for Bolt Action and revel in it terrible performance and take all that for that one occasion where it takes out the prized opponents tank!

Next week will see more Team Yankee and a return to 28mm with the brand new WW2 Dragon Portees from Crusader Miniatures.

Alan and Paul: Blimey Patch! Your production line has been churning out the models over the past few weeks. I really admire your vehicles - great, subtle camouflage, and very convincing looking weathering. That French Portee is a good looking piece of kit, although placing it just after the King Tigers is a reminder of how far tanks and armour developed during the war. Great stuff, and I hope your Portee will cover itself in unexpected glory. I've rounded your total up to 135 points for the crewmen in your 15mm vehicles.

From MilesR: 28mm WW2 Vehicles (45 points)

 Who loves painting tanks during a Blizzard? - this guy!

Yet even more WW2 vehicles from three different manufactures.

 First up is a Hungarian Zrinyi Assault gun with a long barreled 75mm AT gun.  The model comes from Mad Bob's miniatures and came to me via their kickstarter.  I doubt I'll build a Hungarian army but I liked the look the tank.

 Next up is the "German Sherman" a model of the Panzer IV f2,  This is an interesting kit as its a very early 3D printer kit from RPG models.  I got it back at my first Hisotricon in 2011.  Despite the early date for a 3D printed kit, it's really detailed and came in just two pieces - the hull and the turret.

 Lastly, my Soviets need a little love and they be getting that in the form of a Warlord BA-10 armored car.

3 vehicles and 15 points each equals 45 points

Well obviously blizzards suit you Miles.  These are three very nice AFVS.  I really like the  Zrinyi, I am not at all familiar with minor states AFVs .  The Panzer 4 is a really nice model, I love that it's a vintage 3D printed model.  And those Soviet Acs really look the business, even if they do look like they'll topple over easily.  Nice weathering, especially on the Mark 4.
