From StefanoS - 28mm WWII British in Med Gear (40 Points)

Despite home happiness I managed to add some more figure to my (personal challenge).
These are  8 beautiful Artizan Design and Black Tree 28mm WWII British infantry, ready to fight in North Afrika, Greece or Italy.

Cheers from Italy
Stefano

From Curt:

Excellent Stefano! It's great to get a last volley in from you before we close down shop.  I've always admired the WWII offerings from Artizan and Black Tree and I really like what you've done with them here. I especially like the mix of helmet colours and webbing - it gives them a real Med veteran look about them.

Well done!

From StefanoS - 28mm WWII British 8th Army Infantry (65 Points)

This will probably be my last entry to the annual challenge :

13 Perry beautiful plastic 28mm 8th Army.

Wife happy after San Valentine's dinner 😃

I spread through my club mate the virus of the Challenge.. so hopefully more Italians will join next year.

Cheers from Italy!

Stefano

From Curt:

Excellent stuff Stefano! I like the bleached out tones you've used for these figures - it really conveys the idea of them campaigning in the desert. Well done!

Thanks for joining us again this year Stefano, it was great having you along.

From StefanoS - 28mm Napoleonic French Young Guard Voltigeurs (111 Points)

I am painting like a mad dog. Risking divorce :) just kidding.

Painting so fast that I forgot to take picture of unpainted figures ....

Here please find my 3rd entry for the Challenge :

22 x French Young Guard Voltiguers. 28mm Perry Metal.

Flag by GMB.

From Curt:

Yes, finding the balance between home-life harmony and the absolute necessity to get just one more paint layer done can be a challenge in of itself.

Lovely work Stefano! While I have a reasonable collection of Napoleonics I don't have a single Guard unit, and so when I look at this wonderful unit I think it's high time I fill that gap.

And... congratulations on breaking your 300 point goal! Now you can ease back a bit and coast to the finish line, OR go great guns for glory - just make sure to keep your better-half happy.  :)

From StefanoS - 28mm German Afrika Korps Infantry (65 Points)

From Curt: I lost Stefano's email in amongst the shuffle last week so I'm making amends by tucking it in now. Thanks for your patience Stefano, you've done a great job on these DAK troopers!

This is the first time ever I paint Afrika Korps in 28mm and plastic. I must admit Perry WW2 plastic are great figures, I found them better then their metal - which is sometimes too brittle....

The 13 men Squad (including Radio and Officer) is ready for our next Bolt Action game.

Cheers!
