 Ok. Here we go again. Not too much. Work and life stuff going on. BUT, I'm hoping for a big point dump soon. Let's get to it!

We begin with some nasty ghouls/zombies from Mantic Kings of War Undead Army:

We have some Sci-Fi 3D printed Alien "city folk"

I'm not too sure if this mini is from Mortal Gods game or an Old Glory Miniature. Looks like a Roman Slave boss or gladiator trainer?

Some Zombicide Black Plague miniatures. First we have Falstaff, inspired by Bram Stoker's Dracula movie...

Next is, Lady Faye, inspired by Kristen Stewart(Bella of Twilight movie)?

I have a couple North Star Miniatures from Frostgrave Wizards II

A couple "kitbash" North Star Miniatures from Oathmark Human Light Infantry set. I used some of the wizard arms to convert them into wizards for my Four Against Darkness Solo RPG.

I have some Next Level Miniatures, cleric, warrior and a thug.

Lastly, some drones from Beyond The Gates of Antares. Concord drones

A great variety pack here Brian.  Lots to love, but I like those kit bashed wizards the best.  Those conversions worked very nicely.  I want to make sure I've counted everything correctly, so here's my head count.

• 3 Zombicide figures
• 2 Frostgrav wizards
• 2 Kit-bashed wizards
• 3 Next level figures
• 5 drones which I will counts as 28mm figures because I don't know else else to count hem as.

From RossM: Curtgeld and Mortal Gods Characters (35 points)

Second post for this year's Challenge and it includes three figures for skirmish gaming in Ancient Greece. The veteran Spartan Hoplite in centre position being this year's Curtgeld figure. 

The left hand figure is a healer from Mortal God (Footsore Miniatures), central the veteran Spartan Hoplite (Footsore Miniature) and on the right is the seer (Warlord Games)

All three have been a pleasure to paint and hopefully who ever gets the Hoplite will be pleased with the figure and the style of painting used. 

Mortal Gods was a game that I had just started to play early last year and hoping to get back to it later this year. Might even opt to try this on a virtual platform if can manage the tech. 

In terms of points these three gents yield

3 x 28mm figures - 15 points

Curtgeld bonus - 20 points 

Totalling 35 points. 

This added to the running total takes the challenge to 87 points (14.5 % completed). Looks like this is going to be a busy month as there are several items on the painting table nearing completion.

Looks like there is just enough time to scrape in two more letters and grab a couple more points.

I is for Iatros (that's Greek speakin' for Healer) is my first Mortal Gods miniature. Although I am building a Persian force every "completely accurate" historical sword and sandals epic has a Greek healer so why can't my Persians?

This is also the first Footsore Miniature I have ever painted although far from the only one I have ever purchased. A nice figure to paint.

By popular demand, my last entry is some more of those wonderful old standbys, Warhammer Dwarfs. D is for Dwarf features some Ironbreakers to once again fill out a unit.

I found these (and a few mates) while on the same pile diving expedition that uncovered last entry's Hammerers. I actually have painted eight of these but was flabbergasted to realise that I only had three shields that matched the rest of the unit I am adding this to. The other chaps will have to get finished after my next foray into the land of forgotten miniatures.

It is no hardship to go exploring again, who knows what I may find. Pretty sure there are a couple more organ guns in there, they could be handy in 8th....

Well, I didn't quite fill my whole alphabet card but I am very happy to have achieved a personal best score and hit my target for the first time ever. I love AHPC, it really motivates me to get the brushes going, particularly if I get an opportunity to sledge my friends from Odin's Night club.

Wonderful! I loved your Alphabet Duel, John, especially as it featured so many cool, old school dwarfs. As to your Persian medic? Well, I'm dying here as I really, REALLY want to try out Mortal Gods. Once the pandemic has swept the world and we're eating catfood and taking orders from our cockroach overlords, I plan to paddle a reed boat to Australia so I can hang out with my Antipodean friends and play Mortal Gods. Promise.

Here's my last little submission for AHPC X - another 9 Thracians for Mortal Gods. I'm cheating a little - there is a bit of shading and highlighting still to go, but they will do for now.

More delightful Thracians! Again, I greatly admire your creative patterns for their cloaks, shields and jerkins. Really wonderful work Dux.

From RossM - 15mm, 20mm and 28mm figures - (96 points)

A mixed bag here showing the varied projects that are nearly always on the painting table in some way or another.

First up are 5 Arab swordsmen in 15mm, the manufacturer is unknown although recon it to be Minifigs. One of these was painted prior to the start of the Challenge no idea which one it is now

Next up are support elements in 20mm for the D.A.K that where started at the beginning of the challenge. With no real crewed weapons here these count as infantry figures only.

Now there are a few different 28mm figures. Greek skirmishers from Wargames Foundry for Mortal Gods and a piece of scatter terrain from Grand Manner for the same.

A Moor command stand for ADLG in 28mm. The standard bearer and command figure have been painted to join the religious type on this stand. The figures are from Gripping Beast and there will be more from this range on my blog later this year. The flag originally had a green trim and green triangles on the inner panels however, as red and green should never be seen this was over painted in a muted red to fit better with the colours on the figures.

Some armies are just never finished and the Late Romans would be that one for me. These figures from Gripping Beast have been gathering dust since being prepped for last year's Challenge and never made the painting line. Well that has now been rectified and all that is needed now is a game for them to be used in.

1 scenery piece (1.5" radius and 1.5" tall - 10.6 cubic inch or 5% of the 6" cube) - 4 points
