The 'East' Theme Round is Now Up for Viewing!

Hi All!

I'm happy to announce that the 'East' Theme Round has been published and is available for viewing. Please click over to the Theme page to start the tour.

I know this round caused a bit of head-scratching, but that's where I get my kicks. Yes,  yes, you could argue that 'east' could be anywhere, BUT I wanted participants to provide a perspective of how they interpreted 'East'.

For many living in, what we term, The West, it is easy: we typically think of Asia being the East. Nevertheless, it was interesting to read the perspective of our Russian friend Alex, who most of us would think lives in the East, but he himself feels he straddles both Europe and Asia. And what of our Australian friends, do they think of Asia being in the East, even though it is technically to the north-west of you? I was half-expecting an African entry as an Antipodean's 'East'. :)

Contrasting to the polished steel, rust and earth tones of our 'Armour' round, this week we get to see a tremendous amount of colour. From Croatian light cavalry to Japanese Yakuza; Chinese dragons to an Arab baggage train, you will be treated to a wonderful sampling of the colour wheel. My thanks to all those who participated, you made this a lot of fun.

So, get a beverage of your choice, nestle in and enjoy the gallery. Also, don't forget to vote for your favourite entries using the poll in the right sidebar.

Thanks for reading and have a great week!
