From BrianC A Mish Mash of this and that (155pts)

Ok. There's a bunch of this and that. I'm happy to return to my 3rd consecutive paint challenge season! I'm still not that great of a miniature painter, BUT since I'm more of a solo gamer, these will work just fine. Ha! Let's do this!

We begin with Wargames Atlantic Giant Spiders! Smaller spiders are 28mm and the bigger spiders are 40mm. I pretty much painted a black base and dry brush gray, then go over with Army Painter speedpaint of various colors.

We have some dogs from the game Song of Ice and Fire. I think they're the House Bolton's Bastard girls. Majority are painted with Army Painter Speedpaints.

We have some nasty Kings of War Undead ghouls/zombies. I was goofing around and added a head to one and call him, "Frank"

We have a Zombicide Survivor, James from the Rue Morgue Set. There will be much more Zombicide minis, soon. I love the game!

Here we have 2 lovely ladies from Old Glory Miniatures. I think they mean business! Watch out!

Hello, Mr. Terminator! The Warhammer 40K Terminator that is!

Well, there will be a lot more "Mish Mash" turn ins.
I think there's one squirrel point in this. Ha!

Ok to the points...

24 - 28mm = 120pts
5 - 40mm = 35pts
TOTAL = 155pts.

That is a miss mash of stuff Brian.  Love those spiders, as long as I don't have to deal with them in person.  I also really like the hounds and those ladies do mean business.  Great work all around.   Peter

From KentG - 28mm Brannog, Dwarf from Zombicide (5pts)

Well here we are again another challenge and I’m very excited to
See what everyone brings to the table, this year I’ve decide to slow
Down a bit and enjoy the painting so first up I present Brannog
Holding his trusty Dwarven hammer. I managed to pick up
A full Kickstarter set of black plague which means I have a tone
Of figures to choose from.

Being a Dwarf this chap is shorter than most the figure in the game
But he’s still a very healthy 28+ so I’m claiming him for a 5 point start.

First, welcome back to the Challenge, Kent. Wonderful work with this very characterful Dwarf (but then again, aren't they all characterful?). I really like the red accents on the haft of his hammer and on this armour. Lovely stuff. We've played Black Plague a few times and really enjoyed it. I'm sure Brannog will give you good service against the zombie scourge in your games (or make a very formidable zombie himself if things 'go differently'). :)

From BrianC: Alternative Armies, Rumbleslam, Rum n Bones, and Zombicide (107pts)

 First, A BIG thanks to Minion Sylvain! Awesome host! I'm not that great of a miniature painter and that's ok. I paint minis to play the games. Another great year of being amazed with all the talented miniature painters in this challenge! Wow! This is my 2nd "season" of participating in the challenge and I LOVE it!

Ok, here we go with what I have painted which is a bit of this and bit of that. In which is the normal for me. Ha!

Alternative Armies 15mm Scorpion Scourge(10)

Alternative Armies 15mm Hover Support Wagon.

Alternative Armies 15mm Sphera Attack Orb

Next, is my last Old Glory 28mm "Redneck" Miniature to complete my group of four. Fun miniatures to paint and I look forward to getting them in some weird tabletop miniature games!

Here are some more Cool Mini or Not, Rum and Bones Pirates(8). I added base colors and used the Army Painter Speedpaints on top. That made the colors "pop" a little, I guess? I like them either way. Ha!

I finished two more Rumbleslam miniatures and only have one more left to complete the team of five! Here we have the Grappler(orange shorts) and the Brawler(40mm).

Going Zombicide now! I have finished 2 Zombicide Invader miniatures. Magnus(35mm) and the Peacekeeper Bot(40mm).

Well, that wraps it up! I may have some entries for the "Free Fire."
Thank you again!

POINTS:
15mm x 10 = 20pts.
15mm vehicles x 2 = 16pts.
28mm x 10 = 50pts.
40mm x 3 = 21pts.

TOTAL = 107pts.

Sylvain: I'm glad you enjoyed the Challenge. You seem to opt for "fun" subject to paint, like cartoonish pirate characters or pro-wrestlers or a robot with 5 backpacks. And you do a great job at making them colorful. It's actually fun to watch your post :-). I hope you'll be with us again next year!

From BrianC: We have Goblins, Pirates? Zombicide, Redneck, Corporate babes... (150pts)

 This is another entry of a little of this, little of that miniatures. I need to get better with the speed paint skin colors. Oof! No bueno! Alright, let's get to it!

Here we have some Mantic Goblin warriors and archers. Gotta love the "Greenskins."

Goblin Warriors:

Rum and Bones Deckhands (Pirates?)

I will use this Copplestone Miniature for my Dante's Paradise Circle: The Inconstant. This mini is an example of us, human beings. We (male/female) all try to do our best and fall short plenty of times.

Here are a variety of miniatures. The female miniature is another Copplestone miniature. I painted another redneck miniature from Old Glory Miniatures and the last miniature is Auroch Totem Warrior from Alkemy Miniatures.

Lastly, another Zombicide Survivor miniature. This is Elena, she's a promo survivor from the game Wrath of Kings:

That's about it. Nothing really special. I'm still having a blast with the challenge and enjoy looking at all the other painted tabletop goodness! Keep at it!

28mm x 26 = 130pts.
1 Circle = 20pts.
TOTAL = 150pts.

Sylvain: Every time your post an entry, you take us on a grand tour of genres and periods. Many of your figurines have flamboyant colors and others just have lots of attitude. You really demonstrate with your brush that there is fun in diversity. Impressive post!
