Fun fact: my sister spent 6 months as an exchange student in Saskatoon some (lots) years back. She rang us on Christmas day: we were enduring 40deg C while she was suffering in -40deg C. You could nearly boil water with the temperature difference!
Oh, that's very cool (literally). Did she manage to be 'in country' during the summer. Saskatoon is quite a pretty city - the Paris of the Prairies. :)
