  13. I hope I can participate this year. I've been doing some commission work and I'm discussing doing some work for Freeblade Miniatures. Painting Frostgrave has been lucrative for me :)

    2. I have a site for my work and eventually I'll put a link up to it. I've agreed to paint some figures for Freeblade, so I'm going to be swamped for awhile yet.

  15. So, I look across the moor to 'Challenge Asylum' and I am astonished to see a light on in one of the wards. Upon further investigation I see that inmate Docherty is up to his usual capers, stirring up the mob.

It's still summer you lunatics! (Well, at least for those with less, ahem, 'colourful' antecedents...) You'll have to wait until November before you can check back in to the institution. Go out and play in the sun you pallid, paint-stained creatures. :)

Oi! We're not ALL convict descendants you know. I thought us colonials were supposed to stick together but clearly not. Geez...

  21. Hi, I've just come across the page & the challenge. I'm quite interested but it seems the 'about' page might be broken. I take it we are awaiting this years challenge to begin? so the rules won't be up yet?

    1. Hello Henry! Welcome! The 'About' page is not broken per se, rather I've been neglecting it as much of its information was to be used in an upcoming interview article for 'Wargame Bloggers Quarterly'. Not a real excuse, but there it is.

As a thumbnail description: I put out the announcement for the Painting Challenge in mid November and we typically kick-off mid December. It runs for three months, over the winter, ending on the first day of spring. Last year we had 88 entrants. This year will see our seventh edition of the Challenge.

Here is my announcement from last year:

Feel free to drop me a note if you have any further questions.

I'm really looking forward to the next challenge but I'm unsure whether I'll join the bunch again. I'm simply too slow...
