With metronomic accuracy, Thursday is once again hot on the heels of Wednesday. I'm reminded of contestants in the Winter Olympics on a halfpipe (totally gnarly dude) or perhaps alpine skiing or doing the biathalon, given we're at the point in the challenge where people batten down and keep grinding out the figures, lactic acid burning in the muscles like you're on the home strait of a speed skating 1km course.....
Anyway, we have a slightly lighter than usual schedule this week, but sit back and enjoy the miniatures presented to you today in between watching the heats, finals and having fun awarding points to the ice dancers.
Welcome to the Painting Challenge. Here you will find the fabulous, fevered work of miniature painters from around the world. While participants come from every ethnicity, gender, age and nationality, they have three things in common: they love miniatures, they enjoy a supportive community, and they want to set themselves against the Challenge. This site features the current year's event along with the archives of past Painting Challenges. Enjoy your visit and remember to come back soon.
