Dear All
Just a single library submission for me this week. This is my current position in the back room and now moving from the True Crime room to Biography.
For Biography, I have chosen as the book focus, one of the Helion Publishing Books "The Italian Wars".
The biography here is focusing on Charles VIII during his invasion of Italy and I have chosen to paint him using the set of armour and heraldry featuring the Jerusalem Cross as shown on the front cover.
Its a mix and match figure and pretty sure the rider is from Foundry but not sure about the horse manufacturer. Finally a couple of shots of Charles VIII victoriously invading some unlucky Italian city.
Looks like an Imperialist Herald has been captured |
Really pleased to get this Commander done and looking forward to using him leading my French Gendarmes on the table top. Points wise should be a simple 10 plus 20 bonus for the room.
All the best Jez
Simple and to the point Jez. Great work, and a worthy commander for the French is ever there was one. I mean.. look at all the white on his horse... he's ready to surrender any moment now.. j/k..
Great job, and an easy 30 pts for you today
Kyle
You had me at Italian Wars, Jez. Seriously, great painting on Charles The Affable (or less than affable after getting shunted out of Italy). Thanks for the tip on the book too!
