As we approach the finish line of Challenge IX, we bring you the Friday Follies XI:
Though, perhaps this is more suitable, given the historical bent of the folks therein:
Never mind that there are thirteen of us, and that some of the chaps may be a bit sparse, others a bit wizened, and some both sparse and graying. Oi, you lot in the Peanut Gallery stay quiet, or the Brute Squad will sort you out.
Today, as I sip a fine coffee and bask in the glorious sunshine and absolute lack of both snow, fire and drowning (this being California, after all, we have to enjoy the non-burning, non-drowning days when we get them), enjoy the offerings various and diverse from the Friday Follies XI.
You can look forward to Continentals, Hurons, pirates, marines, archers, Ashurites, Andalusians, Titans, and who knows what else?
Onward!
Welcome to the Painting Challenge. Here you will find the fabulous, fevered work of miniature painters from around the world. While participants come from every ethnicity, gender, age and nationality, they have three things in common: they love miniatures, they enjoy a supportive community, and they want to set themselves against the Challenge. This site features the current year's event along with the archives of past Painting Challenges. Enjoy your visit and remember to come back soon.

Rob, thanks for being our minion. It's been a blast.
ReplyDeleteWizened, greying but thankfully not sparse ;)
I told Curt that there was no truth to the vile rumor a challenger had run me down with a car, delaying this day's posting.
ReplyDeleteDamned ramp fell on me, is all :-P
Have a great final lap Robert!
ReplyDeleteThanks for keeping it entertaining Robert.
