In the dark grimness of the far future...
Corrupt Imperial officials fear the attention of the Assassinorum. They should be just as afraid of the Officio Statisticus, the covert arm of the Adeptus Administratum.

I like these 3d printed figures from HeresyLab and Makers Cult. As I was painting them I enjoyed creating a backstory, loosely inspired by the Greek Fates. I think the Administratum would be a slow but terrible enemy. I welcome your ideas!

ReplyDeleteI certainly hope so!
DeleteThe bureaucrat, the bane of all mankind still alive and kicking in the 41st century. Great painting on some very nice figures
ReplyDeleteYou just can't get rid of them.
DeleteMan Barks, some great characterful work here!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sander! I really like the sculpts.
DeleteGreat work and figures there Barks! The colour choices are especially great and not something I would have thought of, but look stunning.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't sure about the colour scheme but it seems to work and tie them together.
DeleteReally nice job, these functionaries are great. I also think up back stories for my figures whilst I paint them, so glad to hear I’m not alone!
ReplyDeleteI spend more time thinking than gaming!
DeleteTerrific painting and back story!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Natasha!
DeleteWonderful, there is soon enough miniatures to play the great AHPC-12 game. :)
ReplyDeleteI need more camels.
DeleteTerrifying bureaucrats. I suspect they report to Sir Humphrey Appleby.
ReplyDeleteCheers, MikeP
Oh, yes!
DeleteWow. Great detail on all the little accessories.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Bruce!
DeleteThese are superb Barks. That glossy black faceplate is as creepy as anything I've seen on here is a long time. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realise that was an option, but I leapt at it!
DeleteSplendid trio of Imperial agents!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
Thanks, Iain!
DeleteLovely stuff. Excellent work on the Scroll too Barks.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, it was meant to be piling up on the floor but didn't print properly...
DeleteLove the colour palette you have chosen, rich tones and gorgeous detailing.
ReplyDeleteInspiring for this new painter 😊
Thanks, Sarah! Colour choice is important. I wanted something dull and boring that would still stand out on the tabletop.
