I guess the Ice Hockey World Championships in 2019 and 2022 doesn't really count, since Finland beat Canada in the final, not Sweden...* But yes, a piece of information of Finland and then a preview of new movies.
:happiness:
HAPPINESS
The feeling of beating our lovely neighbour Sweden – in anything.
Finland and Sweden are like a brother and sister. Someone you compare yourself with and compete against. Someone you love telling jokes about but also admire. A win isn’t really a win unless it’s against Sweden.
*Yes, Canada, we still do count them as wins!
--- End of Finn writing about Finland ---
- Geoffrey delivers again, some Romans in tunics and some Romans not in tunics
- Lee gives something to think about, what's the point in two churches?
- Jez is on a roll, a lone elephant
- Mike is usual Mike, little bit of everything
- Andrew ships ships
- Peter continues to explore the Rome, nothing to eat this time
- May be more?
Interesing info: I can then compare the Finish-Swedish relations to those of Spain with France (... although France tends to ignore us). Have a great day
ReplyDeleteI guess the relationship is similar, Swedes like to ignore us, too... Finland was part of Sweden 200 years ago and Finland got the independecy a bit over 100 years ago, so we are a new country and like to make some noise that everyone knows us. :)
DeleteIt sounds quite a bit like the relationship between Canada and the US actually. The US barely knows we are here and yet whenever we best them in any sorting event it feels like we got one over on our big brother.😄
DeleteHah! I guess that's same with Wales/Scotland/Ireland/North Ireland and England. :)
DeleteIt looks like you have the Thursday crew sorted. :)
ReplyDeleteYep, nothing what a good old hockey stick can't handle. Slash, hook, cross-check...
DeleteTeemu’s a great minion!
ReplyDeleteAnonymous positive feedback, what would be better? :D
DeleteWe all know is you in disguise
DeleteAuch! :D
DeleteYou've clearly put your skates on for today, Teemu. Well done and have a good one.
ReplyDeleteThanks Curt! Sometimes this is more like figure skating than hockey, but I'll manage.
DeleteI'm a Canadian who can't skate so I can throw pucks at those who dance or fight on them (nor do I give a puck). :P
