For my second post today and second overall, apart from the bonus rounds of course.
We have a few odds and sods of civvies from the leadpile.
firstly One man and his dog, with 3 sheep.
The figures are from Redoubt and were a quick paint job. I've been experimenting
with different inks and washes. These were washed with an old recipe of Windsor & Newton Peat Brown. I think it needed watering down a little more. Wish I'd stuck with the Army Painter dip to be honest.
The next 3 figures are from Redout Enterprise, I believe from their AWI range.
Again I used the W & N ink, I think it worked a little better on these??
They will of course go into the Donnybrook box of dispare, hopefully to be used one
day in a game!!
2 Maids a milkin and Daisy
from Redoubt
There are 6 x 25mm figures
1 x Dog
3 x Sheep
3 bails of straw
1 x Cow
1 x Cow
I think i'll leave the workings out to Lee.....
Donnybrook, donnybrook, donnybrook... when will it end Ray? Or more to the point, when are we going to get a game!? If you keep painting farmyard animals instead of soldiers I guess the answer is never. Mind you at least you've removed something from the lead mountain (the residents of Gravesend can breath a little easier).
Thirty points for the humans, 5 for the cow and I'll score the animals as 15mm so 8 points for these and a point each for the bales of straw. 46 points in total... and be thankful I don't dock you points just coz its you ;)
Baaaa!!!!!
