After three weeks of vacation time and lots of painting, I went back to work last week, so while painting continued, not a lot got done. However, trying to make sure something gets done each week, so here is a sole lonely Badgeress for Burrows & Badgers.
This is a huge figure for the game being on a 50mm base and standing over 50mm tall. I painted her up to match the rest of the royalist figures and she will join the gang in the next game.

I am loving your work on this series of models Byron: beautiful brushwork on evocative sculpts. I've scored this as a 54mm fig for 10 points.

Only in the AHPC can one see "Badger Royalist" and think - "oh yes, of course!" - great painting as usual Byron .
ReplyDeleteRemember, that he is "huge", too. :D
DeleteGood stuff, Byron! Are those leafs on the base printed or are they same ready made material?
ReplyDeleteThey are all 3d printed. They are files from epic basing, and I print them with about 25-35% Sirayatech Tenacious resin (it is a resin that has flex and give so that the items dont snap or break like normal resin). It is very expensive, so you just mix in a little to most other resins to stop breakage, but more for models with thin parts, 25% for example lets swords flex about 45degrees without breaking.
DeleteWonderful painted badger. I like it how you did the fur!
ReplyDeleteThat is so good, its a great range of figures isn't it
ReplyDeleteThanks, and yes it is! And it's an even better game! Finally played the first game of it last night, and it is way better than it has any right to be... It's like they took all the best stuff from Necromundai, and then added a ton more cool stuff to it. I got it for the figs, and thought the game would be meh, but the game is awesome, tons of depth!
DeleteThat black armour in combination with those blues really works splendidly!
ReplyDeleteVery nice, Byron.
ReplyDeleteLovely badgeress. Great work on these figures.
ReplyDeleteI love the badger, Byron! Splendid painting and color choice as she does look regal in that blue! Just seeing this reminded me of Martin the mouse and the chronicles of redwall I read to my children for bedtime stories! Now I want to to see this badger with the hares of the Long Patrol at her side!
ReplyDeleteThat blue is very effective! Well done!
ReplyDeleteChristopher
Excellent brushwork!
