Now we have 4 rooms complete on level 2, it is time to summon the Sorceress again to speed us on our way to. It has become *thing* to buy my wife something Princess Leia related, or Space Mom as she is known hereabouts. Given that she has the Pops, action figures, lunchbox and pencil case, this year was the Legion figure of Leia from Endor. This one got painted back at the start of the challenge, but held in reserve for this entry to allow us to teleport on to level 3 and the Knight's Solar
Welcome to the Painting Challenge. Here you will find the fabulous, fevered work of miniature painters from around the world. While participants come from every ethnicity, gender, age and nationality, they have three things in common: they love miniatures, they enjoy a supportive community, and they want to set themselves against the Challenge. This site features the current year's event along with the archives of past Painting Challenges. Enjoy your visit and remember to come back soon.

Good looking Leia,it is a bit of a funny pose, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
It is a bit. I was a little disappointed in the figure to be honest, but Claire likes it
DeleteIt’s such a dorky sculpt I can’t bring myself to buy it, personally. But you’ve done a nice paint job on her.
ReplyDeleteThankfully Legion sculpts are much improving with the newer releases.
Nice work. I kinda like the running and shooting pose. Great basing.
ReplyDeleteHa! I like “Space Mom”
ReplyDeleteWell done on the Princess Leia figure. 🧞♀️
Lovely painting Paul and a big win for Claire, but yes, the pose is a pit weird. Sort of like she's doing Madness' 'One Step Beyond'.
ReplyDeleteI apologize in advance for the earworm that may have caused. :)
It is a good earworm though, so you're forgiven!
DeleteI like the pose; the gun barrel looks a bit long though!
ReplyDeleteA classic figure that should not be left out of any SWL collection. Great painting indeed Paul
ReplyDeleteNice work on this mini, I like the washed out colours you've used.
ReplyDeleteGreat figure, great pose, great base, great painting. Yep that covers it 👌
