from Paul O'G: Ungor Raiders (100 points)
Thank God it's Friday!
From TeemuL: Halflings in Larder (45 points)
S.N. Owl-Ord takes the right turn on, the left side smells like sea and has a moist feeling, while the right side smells of food and has a warm feeling. He leaves the greyish bard behind and continues his walk towards the principal's office. He starts to hear noise. "Larder", he thinks, "Where have I come?" Nevertheless, he continues and to his amazement, he sees two of those smaller people again, but these are not paying any attention to him, they are just shouting and yelling towards the window and seems like they are going to throw their hot pot out of the window. There is another doorway, leading to the stairs, so Uggla quickly leaves this confusing place behind and goes downstairs.
This of course is the famous Halfling Hot Pot, which I bought some years ago, but without the head chef. Anyway, fully knowing, that my painting time is limited for this Challenge, I knew this would be a perfect piece for the Larder and bonus points. I decided to base the hot pot and chefs on a large round base, so I can position them in the way I want and have some scenery and make it strong enough.
This was a joy to paint, mainly using the regular paints from the Citadel range, some light and bright colors for the cheerful halflings. I added an old jungle tree trunk and some other stuff (the gun is now with "timbers", if you get the poor joke). Different kinds of basing materials to keep the big base interesting were added and as a final detail I sprinkled some orange sand here and there on top of the green areas to create and illusion of small flowers (take a look at the last picture, please).
I'm bit behind my schedule, since I was hoping to finish the Level 3 by the end of February and I have now just finished the first level. However, the level 2 is well in progress now and since I don't have anymore holidays or holiday activities I can spend more time painting. And I'd like to paint something non-Chambers stuff as well. I'm also sorry for not commenting much of the other posts, most of the time I have had a backlog of 40-60 posts and constantly reading posts released couple of days old. Now I have caught up quite nicely, so I expect to comment more.

JeremyM, Depth Guard Walkers, Golem's Haunt, (90 points)
Hi All,
This project took a bit longer than planned. I'm finding my energy is a bit lower with all the stuff going on at work. That being said I have been super excited to work on these models for some time and continue on my journey in the chambers.
When I thought of the Golem's Haunt and it noted a figure being pieced together these guys immediately came to mind. They are called Tide Haunter Walkers and are made by the 3d modeller the indignentshrew Here is a link https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4555520
Now I will be adding these to my growing 40k chaos army. I have a bunch of Death Guard models and most players I've seen will be using their ruleset with them. I prefer another internet fellow who has called these figures the "Depth Guard." Much catchier and fits in well with what I have.
As you can see these models are covered in various sea life. Sponges, coral, barnacles, star fish, and some sea worms. It helps bring a huge variety of colours on to the model. I decided the main colour was going to be a dark turquoise which really screamed under water to me, and allowed the other colours to really pop. One of my former hobbies was aquariums. I had 5 set up and running at once several years ago, including a small reef aquarium with a few corals and some clown fish. But when I moved to Regina I sold them all off and have never found the time or space to get going again. It was fun when painting these to combine the two hobbies and start identifying some of the sea life.from RayR - The Chamber of Challenge - The Armoury - Sipahi of the Porte 80pts
From NoelW: Address to the Sorceress: (30 points)
Merlissa performs a few mystic gestures over the her crystal ball, just to be on the safe side, and gently intones:
"Dear sorceress, I’ve a boon to ask.
It’s really not a major task.
If you could bear to be around
the daily grind, rise from the ground.
I’ve idiots I need you to get
and then drop in the oubliette.
There really is no time to wait.
Perhaps you could accelerate?"
She waits.
There's a crack in the earth.
And then...

Sorceress figure is by Wargames Foundry (I'm not sure if they still make this figure, as I've had it a long time.)
Scoring: If I've got this right: 20 points transport to The Oubliette, 5 points for magical female, and 5 for 28mm figure. Total = 30 points
AdamC: Dragonborn Sorceress (30 Points)
Something a little different a figure from Reaper Miniatures.
I believe Reaper intend her as a demon of some sort but I thought Dragonborn. Given that she's floating three feet off the floor she's clearly a magical being of sort.I'm pleased with what I managed with the wings
From NoelW: The Armoury: 82 points
Somewhere in the dimly perceived depths of the Chambers of Challenge Merlissa is squinting into her crystal ball. She sees a party of five adventurers, flee the Gallery of Ancestors and slam the door heavily behind them as a collective noun of statues creaks into life. She sees them stumble into the Armoury. She smiles to herself.
The Armoury is filled with orcs rampaging around like gorillas on
tequila, gathering helmets, breastplates, vanbraces, ordinary braces, bucklers,
swashbucklers, buckets, bascinets, bows and bright shiny beads, falchions and halbeds,
scimitars and poignards, and the occasional pointed remark and heaping them in
an untidy pile in the centre of the room.
“At last!” cries Titchy. “A pile of Treasure!”
Everyorc stops what they’re doing, and turns round to view the newcomers.
“I mean,” says Titchy hastily. “There’s plenty to go round
isn’t there. Lots to do. Why don’t we lend you a hand?”
Casually he picks up an odd dagger and tosses it to the base of
the pile.
It falls well short with a deafening “Ting!”
The tallest orc, Gnawbone, (why yes, it is he!), scowls then growls. Menacingly the orcs close in on the five adventurers.
“It’s us, Gnawbone. Don’t you recognise us now you’re two
people tall?”
The orcs continue to advance. With added menace.
Merlissa’s smile has become a grin.
But at that moment a clamour arrives from the far side of
the chamber, coming from the exit leading to the Hatchery.
Dozens of soldiers bearing white shields stream in, shouting their battle cries
and immediately laying into the orcs.
“We need to get out of here!” screams Elfbow.
Merlissa’s smile is now wide enough to be classified as at
least two grins, if not two and a half. This is going to be better than anyone
could have expected. Soon there will be five ex-interlopers face down amongst the gorgets,
sallets, cuisses and poleyns. And the blood.
She watches Elfbow stumble over a stray guisarme, falling against the pile of armour, which crashes down with a crash, surprisingly. Reaching out to stop his fall, he grabs a spear. A golden spear.
No!
It cannot be!
Not that golden spear!
Not the Spear of Density!
Merlissa shrieks in horror, and is so startled by her own shriek that she drops her crystal ball.
"Didn’t foresee that, did you?" flashes
the message on the ball as it rolls away.
That spear shouldn’t be there. And it most definitely shouldn’t now be in the moronic hand of a stupid elf. Now, whoever kills the adventurers, that
spear will end up in someone’s hands. The wrong hands. She can’t have that. She
hates the idea. Grimvizaj would really hate the idea.
Oh, botheration! Just when everything seemed to be going so well. Forget that plan, then. Come up with a new one.
Time for a sorceress, it would
seem.
She can imprison them in the Oubliette. They won’t survive
there for long. Then she can retrieve the spear from Elfbow’s moronic,
etiolated, bony hand whenevr she feels like it.
Who would have thought it? The Spear of Density!

Not much to say about this post. The 12 Republican Romans are more of the same Victrix minis, except their shields are white rather than the black ones previously posted. The pile of treasure is from Terrain Crate. I tried to straighten the bend bits using warm water, but the straightening does not seem to have taken.

Armoury: 20 points
Pile of treasure: 2 points? (it stands about 35mm high)

From LeeH - Well built Trenches
I have a sizable collection of terrain suitable for WWII 15mm wargaming but I realised that I didn't have any trenches. I couldn't let that oversight be ignored and I briefly toyed with the idea of making some myself but quickly discarded that idea as madness... especially when I saw these models from Ironclad Miniatures. Collectively this lot cost me a shade under fifty quid, but in reality, it was pretty economical considering I have nearly 6ft of trenches to show for my money. Made from a really nice quality resin they didn't need any cleaning up (aside from a wash and scrub) or repairs prior to Priming.
It has taken a lot longer than expected to paint these. They are such good models, with so much detail, they deserved a bit more time and attention to make them look as good as I could get them. As with all my terrain and miniatures I gave them several coats of varnish (4 in fact) to ensure they will survive rough handling and keep looking good for many years to come. So long as I store them properly I can see myself gaming with these for a long time.
I had hoped to have a couple of German PAK anti-Tank guns painted up an as well, but I'm still waiting for these to arrive so they will have to be entered at a later date. They are 3D Prints and I'm rather looking forward to seeing what the quality is like.
As for scoring, I piled the lot up, and got a couple of tape measures out before I primed them. They measured roughly 7"x8"x4" which is a little over one terrain cube.Incidentally is it bad that I really like the smell of resin?

From MartinC WW1 Indians (205pts)
In my increasingly futile attempt to keep up with Miles (doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome and all that) I have been painting some more WW1 British tropical types for action between Syria and Afghanistan.
These 4 sections will comprise my Indian Army
From:ScottC - Luke Skywalker- Knights Solar submission (90 points)
For my Knights Solar submission I have painted up Star wars legion Luke Skywalker (operative).
I have plenty of knights in shining armor but I wanted to ride my star wars momentum.
As every hero needs an antonist I couldn't help but paint up some baddies. Star wars legion imperial Royal Guard and an Eweb.
All in All great bunch to paint.
