From Dallas: Bilbo and Treasure Chests in the Treasury (35 points)

The Treasury! Another challenge... but a big hint was dropped by Mr. Curt in the room description... Elven Rings! And I happened to have something in the stockpile to suit...

Yes, it's the Ringbearer himself, Bilbo Baggins, from the recent Games Workshop range!

Really fun figure to paint. The GW LotR range was awesome back in the day... hard to believe these sculpts must be nearly 20 years old now!

I also had an unopened blister pack of these great "pre-primed" treasure chests from WizKids' "Deep Cuts" range. Easy peasy painting, call it ten points for the lot

Chamber rooms are falling like ninepins now as we're nearing the end of this magical quest. Next up I'll be posting some female figures for Level 3 to transport myself to the Graveyard Beach...

Keke has been loving hanging out in the photo booth. You go Keke!

Stay safe all!

What scale is Keke? I'm not sure how to score the cat (very realistic grey-scale paint-job btw!), so I'll just go with your suggested points for the other items in the post.

  4. Nice work on Bilbo and the treasure hoard. You're going to have cat fur on everything you photograph now.

  8. Now let me stop you there! It is well documented that Bilbo only took one chest of treasure (found in the cave of the trolls from the first part of the book) and only a small one at that. So kindly send those awesome painted chest over here mate 😊
    No seriously great stuff!
