Hi All!
With the last week of the Challenge now upon us, starting this Sunday we will welcome 'Free Fire' entries so everyone has an opportunity to make a mad dash to the finish.
'Free Fire' means that you can draft entries whenever you like and as often as you like for the remaining days of the Challenge. The Marvellous Minions and myself will work as fast as we can to get your work posted in a timely fashion, but please be patient as we're all trying to get stuff done as well.
So, refresh your paint water and re-point your brushes for our dash to the finish line!
Cheers!
Curt
It has been too quick!
ReplyDeleteI know, right?!
DeletePlease tell me it ain't so!? It can't already be the last week!
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of bummed as well...
DeleteThe challenge is a great buffer from reality to the degree you have the time. So many great entries to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteThanks Curt, Martijn and all the other minions for all the work, and thanks to all the contributors for sharing their work with us.
ReplyDeleteThis was my first year and it seems my target was too cautious, so if you let me back again next year I will have to up it.
As it was my first year I decided to try and join in the 'Dante' side challenge as well. I wanted to show willing and get to experience all of it. Ultimately this probably stopped me doing some bigger projects, but it was enjoyable and was good for the creative juices shoehorning in some 15mm historicals into the categories. 18 categories was a lot so maybe I'll do less next year and concentrate on some bigger projects.
I've not really been involved in blogs much before, so it took a bit of getting the hang of. I tried to comment on most posts, but real life has got in the way a bit at times. I've also tried to reply to comments on my posts, but there seems to be no way of knowing when someone has posted apart from continually revisiting old posts.
So the social interaction was the only thing I found a bit tricky, but then if it was easier to chat with people there would be less painting going on.
Anyway, just a few thoughts form a newb. Still a week to go so better break out the paints for my breaks on nightshifts this weekend :)
