From TomM: Tookish Hunters (49 pts)

And so we enter the Chambers of Challenge, a dungeon to be mapped in this 11th Analogue Hobbies Painting Challenge.

To start our decent towards the Altar of the Snow Lord, the first room to be conquered is the Hall of Traps.

As stated in the description of the room, this entry should contain an ambush or trap like theme, so I opted for a group of Tookish Hunters.  An upgrade from your regular Hobbit archer, they are masters of waylaying and setting of traps, so fitted the theme nicely.

I also printed up some pit traps as such to accompany them, to represent in the game the locations of where they want to make the life of the Ruffians that invaded the Shire harder.

As a result, this first chamber has 5 infantry figures of scale 28mm, and 4 traps which I`ll count as a single point each?  Together with the location bonus, that as much grants 49 points towards the tally for this year.

  1. Awesome halflings Tom, the Shire will feel a lot safer with these guys guarding it. Or providing some game for "elevenses".

  2. Some nice halflings there, Tom. And I like the way you've embedded the traps in terrain - makes them more convincing.
