Today’s entry into the realm of pulp-related challenge rooms is the Knight’s Solar! I’ve painted up a late Victorian questing knight, Sir Harold Johnson. Sir Harry, as his friends call him has ventured away from the rainy isle to seek his fortunes elsewhere. Currently, his journey has taken him to an arid clime(maybe North Africa, maybe the dry southern plains, maybe some middle eastern desert), and he’s ready for adventure. This is a delightful figure from Ian at Irregular Miniatures. Ian’s a great guy, and his customer service and product selection can’t be matched!
Sir Harry has a number of loyal soldiers accompanying him, but the ones that are currently painted were done before the start of the challenge, so you’ll have to wait for the second batch to see them. I have some German Seebatallion which I finished last night to oppose them, and when they’re based, you’ll see them as well!
My scoring leaves me at 20 for the challenge and 5 for the figure for a total of 25pts!
More soon! Happy Painting!
A good choice for the location!
ReplyDeleteAre you able to crop your pictures in future so we can enjoy more detail?
Good looking explorer and nice take on the chamber!

Great figure. I’ll second Barks comment on cropping. Good to see Irregular represented.
ReplyDeleteIs that a small figure or just really faraway 😉
