Hi all, here's my output for AHPC VII:
Great to see so many of you tolerated my interest in an obscure cult 1970s sci-fi film!
I think I'm happiest with having done all the WW1 tanks. I don't enjoy painting vehicles, as a rule, but I do like these early steel beasts coated in mud.
Here's me and a few familiar faces:
See you next time!

ReplyDeleteThanks, John!
DeleteI loved your Star Wars stuff this year Barks. Brilliant work!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Curt, it has been good to see everyone else's Star Wars stuff as well!
DeleteAnd all this was done in conditions of 40C and over. That's a remarkable feat, and we forgive your interest in '70s B-movies.
ReplyDeleteStill, next year you might want to go for some 'Space Mutiny' or 'Laserblast' themed entries. I'm not sure enough of your readers know about this 'Star Wars' thing. Seems a little niche...
I don't know, I think if I persist I may gain one or two like-minded disciples...
DeleteWell done Barks, I loved all your Star Wars figures!!!
ReplyDeleteCheers, Ray!
DeleteIt was great to see all of your retro sci-fi weirdness Barks. I particularly like the Scooby Doo crew.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed painting them!
