From AdamC: Coyotes (15 points)

A very small and unimpressive offering this week 

My friend Dave from Bloody Scotsman Games made these up as part of the wild animals for his various Devil in the Wilderness games. 

Having some scruffy looking animals is always handy for the table. 

You can see one is lacking a tail, I'm happy to use the guys who don't print out quote right.  They are 25mm scale so if we count them as 'infantry' they would be 5 points each for 15 points in total.

Sylvain: This might be a first: there is no label "coyote" in the index of the Painting Challenge.  A very interesting idea to add wildlife in the background. You did a great job at representing the fur on these miniatures. Extraordinaire!

 

From AdamC: Gunfighter and monster (15 points)

First up I have another Gunfighter form Bloody Scotsman.  He carries a formidable cut down double barreled shot gun.  

His fur covered chaps are very distinctive.  I think this fellow with his fancy gear and casual up right stance as he reloads is more wealthy gentleman hunter rather an a true cowboy. 

Still he's well armed and will be a nice addition for old west or pulp game. 

I Think this big troll is from Blood Scotsman. I am not sure which game he was intended for but he's a handy monster to have with great details on that face. 

He looks lean but powerful a  survivor not just a heavy hitter, though he is that. 

Its a little unclear to me if the fur is an outfit or is part of his natural hide.  Honestly it could go either way.

He's tall about 65mm even with his crouched stance.  For points I would like to count him as a 54mm figure so this would be one 28mm and one 54mm figure coming to 15 points in total.

Sylvain: A nice and colorful offering this week. I don't know where your troll got that bone, but it must have been from a gargantuan creature! Very good production. Génial! 

 

 

AdamC Archer's and Rangers and Werewolves (70 points )

 A mix of 25mm figures this week from me.

These English Longbow men are from Day of battle games.

They are 3D prints he's built himself and I picked these and the Rangers up at a convention.

There was a set of 5 at one point but as sometimes happens with prints one of them broke. (So it goes) I especially like the guy in blue giving the enemy two fingers.

These Rangers are clearly Tolkien inspired so I took inspiration from Peter Jackson's film depiction.

Their Green-gray cloaks came out great. 

These five with my Borromire figure as a leader will make a nice unit of six. 

These Werewolves are from Bloody Scotsman Games.  More figures from their Devil in San Miguel game. 

I did them as gray wolves as they are supposed to be Native American Werewolves so that species (the most common in North America) of wolf seemed the right one to draw on for inspiration.

The musculature on these guys is amazing these five would be a scary encounter on a dark night.

In total that's 14 miniatures all 25mm scale giving me 70 additional points.

From DaveD . You are indeed correct they are some body building werewolves alright .definitely done some serious abs work .The Rangers are certainly spot on too . Good Job on your second of the day .
