Next up is another recent vehicle acquisition . It’s a M88 armoured recovery vehicle . I do like having engineering assets in a game as they make for great scenario creations .
This a resin and metal kit from Simon at Full Metal Miniatures. I have modelled it so the A frame jib can be down or in use , I had to skip doing the support cables in that case but it still looks good .
Great work on the recovery vehicle, Dave!
I must confess that I was wondering where the rest of this entry was, but it is indeed just the one vehicle. Hopefully that means you are working on another of your mega submissions in the background.

A very fine job, Dave, it’s nice to see an unusual vehicle. Love the beer crate!
ReplyDeleteGreat unsual vehicle, it will attract attention in any gaming table
ReplyDeleteYeah useful for scenarios
DeleteGreat looking recovery vehicle. The beer crate is perfect, how’s the head after the research? Also like the Big D scrawled on its side.
ReplyDeleteCheers . Wondered if anyone would see that!
DeleteCool looking support vehicle, it's not something you see on most tables.
ReplyDeleteCheers
DeleteTerrific work Dave. I like that you conducted beer research (great payoff on the mini too). I hope you rewarded yourself with one when it was completed. :)
ReplyDeleteHad to be done
DeleteNice vick, Dave! I was first enlisted when such things were frowned upon but ignored...now they are frowned upon and punishment is dealt!
ReplyDeleteThat is definitely a work horse with good weathering and detail!
That I can believe
