From DaveD - Rolls Royce Armoured car - Back of Beyond, and Winter Tiger - 35 pts

I received this vehicle  as a present from MartinC on Xmas day - maybe he wants me to shoot his rebel Afghans for him ?  It’s a 28mm 1st Corp product . One of the upsides in the inter war Back of Beyond is that it gives you all kinds of option to use various stuff that fits in the theme.

It should find itself dealing with the antagonists of our our BoB campaign shortly . I need to get a proper tank for my British forces sometime .

1 x 28mm vehicle . 1 full figure , 1 seated  27 pts

Next is a bit of winter table set dressing . I still have a few bits left from late friend Scotty’s wargaming estate and I am putting these to use as some battlefield scatter . This is an abandoned Tiger accumulating some snow cover .

1 x15mn Vehicle = 8 points

This is a Battlefront 15mm piece . I gave it a rattlecan of dunkelgelb , and then used my new AK German camo pens for the green and brown. A light oil wash then a white enamel dry brush and added the snow gunk

Have a Happy New Year challenger and crew  , and I will see you all on the the other side .

Sunday crew , get yer brushes going !

Cheers

Fabulous work on these two pieces of armour, Dave (though on complete opposite ends of the spectrum). That 1st Corps model is really quite lovely - chunky, yet oddly elegant. Terrific job on the weathering and the crew. I agree, the interwar is great fun, especially for whacky armoured cars and tank designs - you guys are going to have fun in your campaign fielding this kind of stuff. The stricken Tiger is excellent as well. I picked up a batch of the AK paint pens recently, but have not yet really given them a good run. They look like they've given you good service here with the camo pattern reflected quite nicely. Great work and I look forward to seeing your upcoming armour support for your force!

  2. I’m a big fan of that Rolls AC! Clearly you caught Martin in a good mood. The disabled tigger came out nicely.
