Well that's another Challenge over and done with, I'm very pleased with how many figures I got painted and its almost a shame its over, on was on a roll. Now as per usual my painting will die down for the rest of the year, which is a shame, but I don't think Mrs R would approve me diving into the garage every 5 minutes, like I have been and more disappointingly, I've got lots of decorating to catch up on now, so its a bigger brush I'll be using for a while!
Like I said I'm pretty pleased at my painting haul, these last 3 months and when you get in all out on the table together it looks rather impressive! I managed to paint up....

I think it’s yer 5th highest mate .. 1749 beats 1687 ! A great one from you .
ReplyDelete5th in one 6th in the placing list
DeleteRank is unimportant compared to how many figures your finished from the lead mountain! Loved the Finn's you finished this year.
ReplyDeleteGlad you like 'em Tom.
DeleteGreat work, Ray, happy frosty gaming!
ReplyDeleteThat's the plan Barks!
DeleteThis winter has been a terrible one, and just glancing at the photos of your winter terrain brings the exact same shudder I have felt for months every morning checking outside!
ReplyDeleteWell done Ray, another tremendous haul!
Dunno if I could cope with all that cold and snow, like you guys in Canada, I'd shrivel up and die!
DeleteWell done, Ray! A clear improvement compared to previous challenges when you were under my whip. :) I like the Finns, they do look great. See You in December!
ReplyDeleteLike I said previously, it was all your tales of Finnish heroes that you gave us on the day of our posts that made me want to paint up the period, so its all your fault really Teemu!
DeleteI can't see any faults here, only positive remarks. :D
DeleteVery true, Teemu, very true!
DeleteWow, that is a LOT of lovely figures!. You had a terrific Challenge, Ray, well done my friend. Best of luck with your 1:1 painting and I look forward to seeing you with us next time we roll out.
ReplyDeleteThanks Curt, it was indeed another pleasure and I'm already looking forward to the next one!
DeleteEnjoyed the journey to the frozen wastes of finland with you Ray - like you I am currently hanging wallpaper :)
ReplyDeleteRather depressing isn't it?
DeleteRay, that is a fine spectacle ….. looking forward to a summer of snowy posts :-)
ReplyDeleteMe too. Norm!
DeleteAnother fabulous Season Ray! I've really liked your focus on specific projects in the last few seasons alongside Lee. I hope your painting in the worst of scales is over quickly :-)
ReplyDeleteHI Ray what manufacturer are you using for your Finns please
ReplyDeleteThey are Parkfield
DeleteYes Parkfield as Dave said.
DeleteYou're beginning to look like your winter soldiers, or is that grey hair?😁😁
ReplyDeleteGreat bunch of figures and sandbags Ray! 👍
Yeh afraid the grey hair taking over!
DeleteThat's a fantastic mix of figures Ray, your stuff is always good to see
