PhilM British WW2 Paras and Naps 352 points

Hi Please see larest batch of figures. I have painted these using vallejo, foundry and warpaints, before varnishing. They are for our Arnhem game hopefully finally going to he played later this year. Canni claim 4 x 48 points so 192 in total please.

Next : 32 Perry plastic British. They are my first efforts with plastic , but I will be sticking with metal.

From DaveD . That’s a decent force of Paras you have there indeed .good job. Always nice to see a thin red line ready for action too. Yup what you save in money with plastics you pay for in time and hassle !

  1. Great looking Brits from two different centuries. Well done, Phil!

  2. Very nice... I agree on the plastics v metal. Fiddly assembly, for me, is a stage best avoided.

  3. Great work on both projects. I’ve much prefer metals for Horse and Musket, but like plastics for ancients (with metals to supplement). I find that mix and match and kitbashing gets a good variety of kit and lets you create figures that manufacturers don’t make.

  6. Very nice. I particularly like the paras. The odd red beret always looks striking.

  7. Some nicely painted figures here, I understand the preference for metals. I have both types and yes there is something about metals which make them better to paint
