From Clint - 28mm WWI British Lewis Gunners (30 points)

Here today we have 3 WW! Lewis Gunners and 3 ammunition carriers. The figures are either Woodbine or Musketeer miniatures all in 28mm and all painted to fit into the rest of the WW1 figures Matt owns so a little bit more brown than my own which are more Green. Both colours work though.

A very brief post from me this time as I am pressing on with the "Epic Fail" and Including that one I will be trying for 3 submissions this week. (Fingers Crossed)

Matt's building up quite a lovely collection thanks to your paint monkeying. Very nice Lewis gun teams Clint - another 30 points for your tally.

    1. Thank you Martin. I also have a soft spot for the Lewis gun. But the sculptor must realise that you just cannot carry or fire them like that! Only in Hollywood could that happen!

  8. At least some of them are Musketeer. I know because I have the same ones for VBCW also. Very similar paint job too oddly enough. Nice work Clint!

    1. Cheers Millsy. In the UK both Footsore and Musketeer miniatures are sold by the same company. Who also stock Woodbine miniatures, so I may not get the exact listings right, but the source for the minis is the same for me.

    1. Thank you Evan, I will only reply once. The background is just lifted from the Internet and plonked behind most figures as it is quite versatile. Just somewhere in temperate climate.

  12. I have these figures waiting in the wings (very deep in the wings, like the tail feathers actually) and they are very nice castings. You've done them proud Clint!

    1. Thank you Moiterei. The uniform colour is not my choice I was asked to colour match from a figure Mr Rousell painted. Which I was happy to do.

  15. Very nice work, Clint. The Lewis guns turned out very well(a favorite of mine) but I really like the ammo handlers, nice animation and poses to those fellows.
