A couple of 60mm x 60mm bases to add to my growing 28mm Arab army for Impetus/To the Strongest. Figures are from various sources, mainly from a very generous donation from a fellow club member who gave me a load of suitable infantry and cavalry figures that were originally painted in the 1980's. I have tried, where possible, to keep the original colour schemes from 40 years ago.
Welcome to the Painting Challenge. Here you will find the fabulous, fevered work of miniature painters from around the world. While participants come from every ethnicity, gender, age and nationality, they have three things in common: they love miniatures, they enjoy a supportive community, and they want to set themselves against the Challenge. This site features the current year's event along with the archives of past Painting Challenges. Enjoy your visit and remember to come back soon.

Nice work Richard. When I try to paint Arab or Turkish troops, one thing I struggle with is coming up with the variety for the colours...no issues with that for you, a very colourful bunch.
ReplyDeleteImpetus, eh? I've always been curious, but too timid to take the plunge...
These look great, the bright colours work really well. Don't like Impetus, it's annoying
ReplyDeleteGreat looking archers.
ReplyDeleteGreat looking Arabs! I quite liked basic impetus, cheap and you don't need too many figures.
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
