I have a sizeable collection of modern Canadian army & Special Forces and insurgents. These models complement the collection and help bring the table to life. I absolutely love when a collection and table tell a story, playing a game is a bonus. To me, painting and hobbying has further helped me understand and appreciate history, both old and new.
The insurgents are all Eureka miniatures. The civilians are mostly Eureka with a sprinkle of Assault Group. The camels are from gripping beast and the oxen are Nolzur Wizkids models. The nomad sniper is from Spectre miniatures. The mortar team is 3d printed from a good friend who has a current kickstarter - Quartermaster 3D - War in Iraq for modern US soldiers and insurgents.
Points:
39 - 28mm figures = 195 pts
1 - mortar team = 10pts
2 oxen + 2 camels= 40 pts
Great looking civilians, insurgents and camels!

ReplyDeleteGreat story pieces here Scott. Many of the civilians wouldn’t be out of place in 19th century colonial actions. Nicely painted too! Wins all a round.
ReplyDeleteExcellent addition to the collection, adding the civilians will really set the scene for your games
