I finally got around to working on both the crewmen for my elephants and the Victrix Miniatures pack of Numidian cavalry that I picked up. These is part of a new project to build an Art de la Guerre Numidian Army. This is part A as only the cavalry component is ready today. I still need to apply decals to the elephants.

Minion Miles: love 28mm ancients!
The models look great and the painting work too. I did not know the Victoria Miniatrures range, will have to do some research on them
ReplyDeleteThat should be Victrix Miniatures, not Victoria as on the labels. I'll correct it later this evening.
DeleteLOL!!! Actually the models reminded me to the Victrix range but I didn't connect the dots in my brain of a potentially spelling error
DeleteThose cavalry look sweet, Rob! I've got some 15mm Numidians to paint up at some point - you've inspired me to do them with red tunics. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Tamsin, I already had a unit of Old Glory Numidian LC with off white tunics. For the crewmen of my elephants I've gone with a green
DeleteThey look great, love the red tunics.
ReplyDeleteGood stuff, waiting for the elephants!
ReplyDeleteSo am I. It will be my second time experimenting with Little Big Man Studio decals. The first was a number of years ago with shields for my Norman cavalry
DeleteGreat stuff, do love ancient cavalry!
ReplyDeleteSplendid looking Numidians!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
That is a great looking passel of Numidians, Rob.
ReplyDelete@ Minion Miles - I started playing 5th Edition WRG, using an Airfix Roman Army. I agree you can't beat 25 or 28mm figures for a mass battle on the tabletop
ReplyDeleteGreat looking squadron of cavalry. The bright red cloak on the officer makes him stand out nicely among the deeper reds on the regular troops.
ReplyDeleteGreat work. I have half the Victrix Numidian cavalry bag painted with the others standing by. Excellent models. Cheers
ReplyDeleteNicely done with lots of movement in those
ReplyDeleteNice work, Rob!
ReplyDeleteLuvvly work Rob!
ReplyDeleteGreat work. Love the Victrix models ( got some in the queue to complete myself! )
ReplyDeleteSome fine cavalrymen! I like the skin tone.
