RobH - Numidian Field Force Part A (140 Points)

I finally got around to working on both the crewmen for my elephants and the Victrix Miniatures pack of Numidian cavalry that I picked up. These is part of a new project to build an Art de la Guerre Numidian Army. This is part A as only the cavalry component is ready today. I still need to apply decals to the elephants.

State of project last Friday afternoon

  1. The models look great and the painting work too. I did not know the Victoria Miniatrures range, will have to do some research on them

    1. That should be Victrix Miniatures, not Victoria as on the labels. I'll correct it later this evening.

    2. LOL!!! Actually the models reminded me to the Victrix range but I didn't connect the dots in my brain of a potentially spelling error

  2. Those cavalry look sweet, Rob! I've got some 15mm Numidians to paint up at some point - you've inspired me to do them with red tunics. :)

    1. Thank you Tamsin, I already had a unit of Old Glory Numidian LC with off white tunics. For the crewmen of my elephants I've gone with a green

    1. So am I. It will be my second time experimenting with Little Big Man Studio decals. The first was a number of years ago with shields for my Norman cavalry

  8. @ Minion Miles - I started playing 5th Edition WRG, using an Airfix Roman Army. I agree you can't beat 25 or 28mm figures for a mass battle on the tabletop

  9. Great looking squadron of cavalry. The bright red cloak on the officer makes him stand out nicely among the deeper reds on the regular troops.
